Here's why Everest is claiming so many lives. Mount Everest is more than 29,000 feet tall, which might make you think most victims of the mountain die by falling. But that's only the second most common cau...

As a devout Christian and a visionary, l had a story to tell. I feel that he was at the juncture of life and death as he was thrown into terrible despair and risks of dying alone at a very high altitude without oxygen and First aid kits. But the miracle happened as his heart might have turned to the Almighty God in his subconscious mind and cried desperately out to God for help, God orchestrated and arranged someone to rescue him from the brink of death just in time, which granted him an opportunity to live, an opportunity to know God. Praise the Lord Hallelujah

Personally, I think that they take the risk. They know what they’re signing up for, they can’t expect someone to save them. In almost every other situations I would do something. But this is almost like trying to save a drowning person when you can barely swim. Chances are you’ll drown yourself.

Next year all climbers should climb with out the help of sherpas. The death toll would be grand

  • @veronicashields4405

It was interesting to compare the blunt pragmatism of the Sherpa gentlemen the European teams. We see them downplay their skills as a people (“this one was actually a professional climber like us” - sir, the very nature of the guides’ work makes them professionals), yet he was the one who understood best what they were up against and saw the danger they were walking into. He’s also got the most honest assessment of what happened: they all got cocky in pursuing in their goal and paid for it. The mountain doesn’t care, after all. It’s a mountain.
