    I hear this all of the time. So and so wrote $49000 or 100,000 in a month. For instance this one with this gentleman. He wrote $100,000 in a month, but how much did HE make personally. Let's assume he's making 50% commission.....how much did he make ? Anyone know? Just curious.

      If he is on the free lead program he will have made $50k. Net might be lower still because we do not know how much of those prospective clients are as earned for guaranteed issue and direct cards. Those you do not advanced 1st year annual premium.

    If you’re interested in getting into the industry…DO NOT become a captive agent. Become a broker and sell multiple different carriers. I was at AIL and it was terrible. Yes, some people succeed, but cmon man the leads are just terrible. The managers just drop you off and hope you do good and give you NO TOOLS to use to up your business. I’m with a new startup brokerage and i already made more than i ever did with AIL. Plus, i can actually get people the policy they need, not overcharge them and put them in a system where they’re gonna get 20 calls a day from other agents trying to sell them more insurance.

    I sell 50 to 60 per month during SEP over the phone. Buy good leads, know your product knowledge, and hold a strong frame. It's not that difficult.

    The letters we send out literally say if you want supplemental life insurance to fill out this form and send it back no bait and switch. Yea some recruiters might over exaggerate but not all of them do that. The guy who recruited me makes over 500k I know this because I saw his tax returns. He said first year I’m looking at making $50k. There hasn’t been a single word about recruiting other agents or trying to recruit the leads since I started training. There are a few bad apples in every insurance organization, but if you have morals and a good work ethic you can be successful anywhere. This is the only insurance company that’s ever offered me free leads and 1 on 1 training like this.

    Wanted to stop in and give my two cents on bankers. I have been working with them for 10 months now. First I'll go over prospecting. You'll have two office days per week, during this time youll call leads to book appointments. Some insight here and a quick aside. Calling T65 is the core group of people that youll reach out to. These are people we can go over Medicare with and that need the most help as they'll likely be retiring soon. However this group is generally still working. Best call times for them is 8-10, & 5-7 or end of day. From there youll have an abundance of T68+ leads/ life leads you can call whenever you're not dialing T65s. Now lets jump to leads, bankers has an abundance of leads and you'll never be lacking in this department, they are plentiful. Also, for newer agents, generally the town that the office is in has been called much more by the agents there. Not saying don't call local leads, but if you find yourself focusing on just them you won't book as many appointments as you otherwise could. Don't be afraid to call around to different towns. From there as you're filling your calendar, make your day make sense book around the appointments you have already made for a future day and shoot for 5 appointments minimum. Two hour blocks for medicare appointments and 1 hour blocks for life appointments. If you can book more than 5, do so. Lastly, training. Every office day will have a training block set aside. Bankers also has all the training course you will ever need from the best in the business on their website. Self study is a must. Commission rates. While this varies state to state and product to product, it's very similar to most companies that provide leads. You get paid a percentage based off the first year premium. Overall, I have enjoyed my time at Bankers and will continue to work for them, I'm becoming more proficient at closing and this has tremendously increased my income. I look forward to my renewals, especially for the health products I have sold. As I will be giving myself a yearly raise fairly constantly. Work is required to be productive in any field, you will have to grind. Be open to the trainings and ask questions. Whenever I was a new agent, I took a legal pad to write down questions I would ask the senior agent after the appointment was over. Hope this helps.

    I've been with Symmetry for 6 1/2 years, am an elite producer, have no agency, and have earned over $1 million in gross income, mostly on my own pen. About $200k of that total went to lead investments, $50k of which was last year alone. With that said, my net profit has continued to shrink year after year since 2019 (my first full year) as expenses increase and returns decrease, even though my commission level has grown from 60-115%.

    I remember in the late 70s my friend father was an insurance agent. Very respectful industry back then. When is the Department of Insurance going to step in and add much needed regulation to protect agents against these type of companies? It seems to be getting worse. There definitely needs to be more accountability across the board. Starting from the top.

    Do yall realize every single place of business "recruits" in order to hire enough people to do the job? Just because you didnt do well doesnt mean it is a scam. And yes, there are bad people in EVERY industry, so of course you are still going to find bad people in primerica. That doesnt make the entire company bad.
