Caipirinha - Your New Favorite Drink
A Caipirihna is a quick and easy drink to make. It’s refreshing with a little bit of tart, some sweet and a bit of bite. Just 3 simple ingredients, a muddle and a shaker (or use a glass) and about 1 minute results in such a delight.
Ingredients
- Prepared ½ Lime - quartered with the end sliced off
- 1 ½ oz Cachaça
- ½ oz Simple Syrup
Muddle
Fill Shaker with just the right amount of ice (a glassful)
Shake
Pour and Serve

    You know... I got tired of the "sous who" bit in the beginning but it won me back over with the full commitment. Great video, have you experimented with different times? I've been seeing recommendations from 12 hours to multiple days.

      Thanks for YOUR commitment. (I do regret the sous who but it seemed funny to me at first.). I stick by the 12 hours, maybe up to 16, perhaps 18. Anything longer and it begins to be mushy. A lot of people love the fall off the bones texture but I prefer a little bite to it. Appreciate your feedback. (repost)

    Hey did I hear it right? You said to put it in the over in the lowest rack for final rise(the last half hour)? Won't thay cook the dough

      Not quite. Put an oven rack on the lowest shelf while your oven is preheating. The dough's last rise is definitely not in the oven. Enjoy!

      @@noreenahmed5556 - Right. I adjust the rack to the lowest most position. In my oven, it's perhaps 2" or 3" above the oven floor. Once the oven is fully preheated, I put the cast iron pan on this rack (not the oven's bottom). Hope this helps. Just checked - pan in the oven at 8:30 in the video.

      To warm them up? About 15 minutes or so. You want them warm enough so you just sauce and broil.

    I pre cut my dijourno supreme either frozen or room temp then put 2 to 3 slices in an oiled cast iron skillet. Cover w. Glass top. Then watch u tube while pizza comes up. If you like charcoal bottoms youl love this pizza. Nice and crispy rustic pizza and its all done on a single toastmaster elec. Burner. A boon danza!😅

      I just had to look them up as apparently they’re not sold in this part of the country as I’ve never seen them in a store. I’d guess yes, they’d cook the same since the temperature and duration are designed to cook/tenderize the meat. Just a guess, though. Thanks for being a fan.

      Sorry to hear that and I don’t have an explanation. I use this recipe all the time and haven’t had a problem. Sure, sometimes the dough is a little drier or a little wetter/softer but still workable and delicious. Lots of folks have had success. I’ll share this: I NEVER write in my cookbooks, like NEVER. I made a challah recipe out of a cookbook once that produced the most unusable, dry dough imaginable. I was (maybe still am) certain I followed the recipe perfectly. It was a failure. I was so angry I wrote “Do Not Use” in the book. Years later I re-tried the recipe, ignoring my own insistence to never use it. What happened? It’s my favorite and most reliable challah recipe. What’s the takeaway? First, I should make a video with that challah recipe. Second, it might be worth trying this pizza recipe again. It is, probably obvious, easier to have wetter rather than drier dough to work with. Good luck.

      Sure. If you use extra virgin I’m sure there would be a little flavor. Light olive oil would less likely leave any taste. I’ve used avocado oil and nobody ever knew.
