Inherited the white dial version of this from my dad, he purchased it new around 2005 and it still looks and works like new 2024. For $30 watch that's amazing quality for dollars.

I picked one up out of curiosity as well at bass pro shop for 160.00. I’ve been very impressed with mine. Makes me wonder if the seller was trying to turn a quick profit on a bad knife. Especially for 115.00 bucks. That makes it seem like a sweet deal.

I carry my Para 2 tip down for this reason. My endura is waved, however, and the way the handle is cut my hand falls into the grip with the furthest reach possible, almost choking back on the handle but my thumb falls right on the ramp perfectly

Bladeless victorinox will be a total gamechanger, and in a good way! If we need a blade, we can always carry an additional single blade that is easily left behind. I would definately also EDC larger tools. Atm i restrict to anything with less than 3 inch blade, living in the UK.

Swiss champ is my one & only. My bro gave it to me when I was 10 yrs old. I'm now 38. & Have used it every day. She is a Little worn & torn but still reported for duty. ❤️💯 She's my personal favorite!

I just bought one for myself as as soon as my 10 yo daughter saw it, she wanted to try it. So yeah, I ordered a second one for myself. 😅

The Sak champ is absolutely stupid for anything but a desk drawer knife. It’s way too big to carry. The explorer or traveler is way more useful

I own way more than 4 Victorinox knives, but only a few get regular use. From the 4 I only miss the Mountaineer. I agree that your selection features very useful knives, but the Huntsman and Mountaineer are too similar. I'd drop the Mountaineer and add a Cybertool M instead.

Cool knife for a cool price, it reminds me of the cry of fear knife, there's alot cheap junk knives out but this one is cheap and decent

I prefer the Work champ, it has a metal file/saw in addition to the Hercules.

Love my Old Timer Trapper. The spay is great for cutting meat, bread, cheese, you name it! My trapper is yellow handled and my daily carry.

Does the scallion have a detent so that the bar can be removed turning it into a manual opener?

After century producing the knifes it’s unforgivable that Victorinox hasn’t engineered a mechanism to lock the blade and the screwdriver which makes these tools dangerous or difficult to use when it’s necessary to put pressure As I’m not living in a wine drinking country but beer, the wine bottle opener is almost useless. So the best for me are Tinker both Deluxe and Small.

Great video! I recently bought the same model at a thrift store for a $1.30 and was looking for information online when I came across your channel. Unfortunately when I opened the watch the inspect it I found that it was missing the spring that grounds to the microphone. Hopefully I can find a replacement online 😖

Absolutely the Handyman and the Mountaineer! These are the ones I actually USE, not just keep in a collection somewhere. The Handyman is for me the biggest SAK you can hold comfortably in your hand as an usual knife and the Mountaineer has the perfect combination of tools for it's size if you want to have something smaller and lighter in your pocket.

The only advantage of this bigger heavier SAK is the larger knive, big deal!

I have a Wenger inscribed with "Multi-Band Multi-Mission Multi-Mode Multi-Service" and "AN/PRC-117" and a logo with the letter H with waves going thru the H. Do you have any knowledge on this model? The closest I can find is the Victorinox Tinker 3.25". It's black. Thank you.

Pretty much yeah a non locking folder under three inches is perfectly legal and most of the time you don’t need a reason but if you go to a problematic area such as London ect they can be strict as hell I have heard about certain areas being no knife zones due to crime but carrying knives in cities is definitely not liked I grew up in the countryside and with the jobs I’ve done a knife is a very normal thing it’s basically boils down to don’t be a knob and using common sense if you think you should not have ur knife on u lol ur probs right 😂 But I can see a liking for this idea without the blade be handy thing for people who don’t like carrying a blade on them I’d probably carry one in cities or keep it at my desk The uks laws aren’t actually that bad 😂 people just seem to cry about it needing a reason for a lock is a bit daft but i don’t really see many problems from it i do wish I could carry a small fixed blade everywhere but oh well
