The scariest shots for me are the ones where tons of tension has been built of before hand and then the camera forces us to slowly look at whatever it that the character hasn’t been wanting to look at. No jump scare. No nothing. Just feeling completely vulnerable and helpless. Bravo 👏

Imho líbí se mi, jak ty nezávislé, sebejisté ženy propadají panice při jakékoli hlouposti, kterou jejich mozeček vyhodnotí jako smrtelnou hrozbu. Toto téma se odráží v mnoha zdejších snímcích a ostře kontrastuje s tím co o sobě určitá část soudobých žen pyšně prohlašuje. Milé dámy, přestaňte se bát vlastních šokantních představ. Uleví se vám a poklesne vaše skrytá averze vůči mužům. Protože vnímat slušně oblečeného, mile výstředního muže coby hororové monstrum a argumentovat pocitem děsu a ohrožení, může jen zcela psychicky nevyvážená a zamindrákovaná osoba, neschopná jakéhokoli samostatného života bez podpory sociálních berliček meetoo, podkuřování článků o rovnoprávnosti, emancipaci a podobných vymyšleností.

Does anyone know any back story on this short story like what's actually happening? Or what that thing is? I thought I saw someone theorize that she was actually dead possibly from the train crashing and this was death coming to collect her. Or possibly dark thoughts and potential suicide creeping into her mind.

What if she had done something really, really different and unexpected (especially for a young woman) and stood up, and said loudly: "Yes? Are you ok? Do I know you? Oh my god, I think I might have met you somewhere! " And just acted very blase and bold. He's counting on her reacting to his silly game in the typical manner of a frightened woman. What if, in other words, she presented him with a totally unexpected reaction? Maybe it would have put him off his silly Scare-the-young-woman-alone game.
