#1. Israel - especially with the vibe of the song about loss and tragedy, a wonderfully orchestrated ballad and an amazing singer. Among the best ballads Israel sent to Eurovision and definitely one of the best this year in terms of melody, vocal and overall performance. #2 France - fantastically built ballad and vocal. That said, I understand the difficulty and pressure resulting in undermining purely musical video to try being considerate of politics and news-media bias all over, so with this I also couldn't bring myself to actually watch the video as well, even though I wanted to here the singing. Since I did take attention to listen to the video's intro before I stopped - I comment my taste for the 2 most emotional songs this year.
