The Safety Word perform as a digital/acoustic ensemble their works inspired by post rock, new romantic, chill wave and trip-hop sensibilities. The band consists of core song writing team John Rousvanis on (vocals/electric guitar) and Simon Quinn (laptop/keys) who either play as a compact duo unit or expand the band’s sound with Craigus McVegas (electric bass/synth) and an assortment of guest musicians for unique performances. Their sound can be described as down tempo electronica with a twist of trip-hop and future R & B. Thrown into the blender are soulful vocals, abstract guitar, deep bass and ambient synth soundscapes.

I relate to on the level of how toxic and negative. People, the world in general and social media are. Only caring about: themselves aka Narcissists, Greed, Fame and Money. As an Empath, with my life philosophy being Kindness and Compassion. I had to remove myself from all those platforms 3 year's ago. 《Valoramous》His collab with Safety Word "Amnesia". Still on my constant replay mix. So lucky he can jetset the world. Witnessing such gorgeous locations as Bali. I LOVE the sweet Synthwave soundz! Grew up first hearing Kraftwerk at age 7. Any tracks using that instrument, are BEST in my books! 《Bending Grid》Of coarse dig his mixing of two guitar riffs. Visuals are top notch, right up my alley. As am a lifelong worshipper of best decade ever 80's. This also has a futuristic twist eg. movie Bladerunner(1982). Def agree with his take on lyrics. Where all kinds of people, come together as one. Despite their differences and challenges. I could easily write more paragraphs here. Giving my review of the other collaborators. But, would end up being even longer than this already.
