Begode T4 Ramp Practice
I bought this little ramp for $13 on Amazon Prime Day and just now got around to trying it. I think it works very well as an intro to jumping wheels!

I just started learning to ride electric unicycles a few weeks ago. I got the X3 as a beater to learn on without having to worry about dropping it. It doesn't have much torque and is easy to over power and cause cut-out, but I don't regret it being my first wheel for a second. This video is me riding in and out of dried out retention ponds. The inclines are fairly steep, but I'm not sure exactl...
Laotie ES19 Ride Around The Neighborhood

This thing is scary fast and fun. It took several times riding it before I felt comfortable operating it at all. Now I feel like I can ride it like I used to ride my old 2000w scooters, with the option of grabbing a handful of throttle and going really fast. It's still very easy to accidentally grab too much and instantly regret it. I have noticed a slow but extreme "wobble" or swerving at high...

Nice. Where did ya get the protective pieces?
Thanks! They're NyloNove bumpers.
My favorite video of seated riding EUC's so far. I've been looking at these T4's and now I really want one! Really smooth and chill looking ride. No one seems to spec out or talk about seat height on EUC's? Personally I could care less about standing. Maybe I would try standing later but that transition thing seems awkward at best. I know I maybe different but I really like riding standing side stance on my Onewheels. We can do both right? We don't have to have that whole ski/snow board - windsurf/ kiteboard weirdness ... LOL Hey anyone ever think about making some foot pedal extensions for seated riders? Could double as a bumper stand thing???? That might be my first mod. Great video!
Hiw far did you go?
It might be just that the tire is not centered on the rim evenly. You can deflate it a bit and and use your hands to make it even all around the rim edge. I'm having the same issue on my Begode Master and I'm going to try this.
You are a no-go at this station sir.
Nice work! I see you really get the max out of it. Even though it doesn't have much power it can climb quite a bit
Thanks! It sure does have some torque to work with, although I often had to "corner up" the steeper parts. The X3 off road is a good way to learn to work around the shortcomings of weaker wheels.
@@adamizme1 Yes, I'm happy the X3 was my first wheel. I used it in the forest for 3 months and that learned me a lot. Learning to not take any watt for granted. Learning to read the terrain etc. I think a knobby tire could help it a lot.
i have the TI30... This one is a bit faster right? mine goes about 50mhp
Just bought gotway nikola plus and have pretty much the same wobble. Also interesting
Can anyone tell me if this is too much wobble or not? Thanks!
What’s the max speed you’ve hit?
340km
@@terminator2451no I think this scooter maxes out at 320 kmh

can you put a link for the chair i want to buy chair for my Laotie es19.
Banggood has it. You just have to search their site for "laotie es19 seat"
It's working the way it should. The regular SS holds rpm at ~6400 it's sitting there like it's supposed to. Only the 1LEs are programmed to drop to 5000
If that's the case, it basically doesn't have NLS. The point of NLS is to bring the RPM down to where the next shift is (or close) rather than just bouncing off of the rev limiter.
@@adamizme1 Put it in neutral and rev it or just run it to redline and you will see that the rev limiter is different. It doesn't make that same sound. When you let out clutch in the next gear it will pull the rpm down to the next gear and you'll get a little torque boost from doing it, that's why the standard SS NLS is at 6400 and the 1LE is 5000 - 1LE designed for smoothness on race track, normal SS setup for maximum straight line acceleration on drag strip. NLS is still protecting you from over-rev between gears because in a normal powershift situation you'd be bouncing off rev limiter between gears as when you push the clutch in with foot to the floor rpm will rise quickly instead of holding at 6400. Rev limiter is about 6750.
@@z33guru Interesting. Thanks for the info!
hey ! can i have your feedback about this scoot please ? and another video of presentation with the seat, if the position is good , thank you
lol, i want to install a basket n use it to run errands.
I had a basket on my old scooter and foolishly sold it with the basket. It's very handy! Although I have had things go flying out of the basket when I hit a bump. A backpack is a bit more practical.
Is there any wiggle, im thinking about buying this e-scooter:)
If you look at my other video where I ride it around my neighborhood, it shows the common wiggle problem. I'm no physicist but I think it's caused by the weird shape that the tires are when fitted to these crazy wide wheels. If the front tire were more narrow or went to more of a point toward the center, I don't think it would happen.
@@adamizme1I think he meant speed wobble, but thats what the damper is for, but it is mostly due to the C suspension being really in the wrong direction to have the best suspension effect and thus changes the overall geometry
@@BH4x0r Both are probably factors, but yeah the normal 11 inch tires with hydraulic fork front models are where it's at. Despite it's shortcomings I appreciate this model existed as it got me thinking about optimal designs and as such I made a better choice.
@@FatYokel actually the Mars GTR's "forks" and the Nami Blast's inverted C type are probably the best design, easier to maintain and you can use virtually any type of suspension on those wether it be hydraulic shocks of different brands or air shocks when a shock breaks/starts to leak an Exa 291R isnt as expensive as 2 shock tubes for a Kaabo scooter or whatever and the rebound and preload adjustment is plain better as for the Blast type, it sorta acts like a pair of shock tubes but better
@@BH4x0r Yeah I'd love something like the Mars it's a great design, the inverted C types are probably good too although they look a bit funny. Unfortunately it boils down to cost, the value just isn't there compared to the regular hydraulic models. The manufacturers are crazy greedy to be charging 2-3x the price on the same models with basically just suspension upgrades. The R&D in no way costs that much lol :P But then again nearly all PEV's are overpriced for what you're actually getting, it's just the game we play for now I guess. Perhaps the prices on the superior designs will trickle down as the market matures :)
I love your scoot!!!😍 Do you have problems in hi speed (not stable)...??
Thanks! It seems to want to wobble side to side at higher speeds. The steering damper helps when it's turned up, but then it's quite awkward to ride at anything below 30mph.

hahah yeeew. looks like i may have to try a laotie next ;) wheelie on! subbed!
It's amazing for tooling around at low speeds being a hooligan. They say it gets up to 60mph, but I'm not sure I'd trust it for that. 40mph feels like 100mph on something like this.

Before purchasing the Eahora X6, consider my experience, as of yet ignored and unresolved by Eahora: After only a few rides I decided to remove the rear nut to put a receiver for a cargo trailer on the bike. Nut spun freely, meaning either the nut or axle was stripped during assembly at factory. Immediately contacted Eahora. Customer service told me that the wheels aren't meant to be removed by anyone other than a bike mechanic. You don't have to be to be a bike mechanic to remember 'lefty loosey'. After verifying that the problem existed with the bike upon arrival and not due to misuse on my part, nothing but radio silence. In short, once the bike has its first flat I won't be able to remove the rear wheel. If you own any Eahora bikes check your nuts to see if this affects you. Everything else about the bike has been wonderful, but as customer service first tried blaming me, then avoidance, and then just ignoring me, I'm convinced I've been scammed. However, I do have a solution. One which involves a dremel and probably an hour of careful cutting:( Feel free to share if you've had a similar experience.
good job..the only thing people want to know!:)
I can't see on my screen throttle only what top speed can you get
The first run is throttle only slightly uphill and tops out at 24 point something mph. Then I go back the other way (slightly downhill) throttle only and it pretty easily gets to 25 mph and change.
@@adamizme1 anything above 20 is plenty fast I think
Thanks Adam, getting a X7 Plus on Monday and it has similar components so appreciate your comments.
No problem! Hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying my X6!
How's the battery regeneration technology? Legit or a gimmick?
Seems to work fairly well. There are a couple downhill sections on my daily ride and I notice a bar added back to the battery meter sometimes. I haven't tried to collect specific data on its efficiency.
The battery regeneration is the main reason I am look at buying this bike along with the speed. How is the bike holding up three months later? Have you put a bunch of miles on the bike since then?
@@dankgenetics9663 I haven't been riding much lately because of the covid thing, but I am just recently starting to ride again. One strange thing happened... My odometer reset to zero on its own! Otherwise it's holding up great.
Is that speed in mph?
Yes it is in mph.
Do you know where that clanking noise is coming from or if it's normal? How does the ride feel going over bumps and stuff? Thanks for posting videos for us considering this bike. It looks like a good method of transportation and a lot of fun I bet.
I think it's from the wires running along the bottom of the bike, but I'll see if I can pinpoint where it's coming from and make another video about it.
@@adamizme1 could it possibly be the battery rattling in the tube?
@@AntPernal That's absolutely a possibility. Thanks for the tip. I'll check for that too.
@@AntPernal Confirmed by riding around with the battery removed. It is the battery rattling around in the tube.
@@adamizme1 I'm glad you could confirm this. I'd imagine a rattling battery would decrease it's life and safety. Some people have had luck with sticking a couple strips of the fuzzy side of velcro on their batteries to minimize the movement.
What’s the max speed
I've had it up to about 30mph, but it usually cruises around 25mph in mode 3.
@@adamizme1 that's really good for the price. Do you need the key in order to operate the bike or just take out the battery?
@@nervy4362 Just to remove the battery. I usually carry the key in my pocket because I have a vibration sensing alarm installed on the bottom of the seat and the remote is on the key ring.
Nice ride,Adam. Does this bikes motor have a hard time on steeper hills and can you trolly this around ok when folded up? Thanks for the video tour!
Thank you for the kind words. I'm only about 155lbs but it seems to haul me around just fine, even on pretty steep inclines. I've only folded it a couple times, but this seems like a good idea for another video!
does it look like you can mount a rack on the back of this thing? any problems since you've owned it? what's the range on throttle only?
A rear rack that only attaches to the seat post should be fine. As far as other rear racks, I'm not sure since the swing arms are not your typical tubed metal. I suppose it depends on the rack. I don't know how much range with throttle only, but I'm 36 miles into the current charge with 46.5v left, which is about 50%. There was quite a bit of pedaling involved though.
@@adamizme1 do you think a 2 inch tire would fit the rim on this bike?
@@AntPernal I'm honestly not sure. The wheel appears to be about 1.6-1.75" wide. Hope that helps!
Great neighborhood, and a very cool video. That Selfie stick vanished!
