Landing at 02:36 The end of a sortie I flew on the Alpen's Cold War server back in february. I got hit by a Stinger about 200km away from kobuleti. The hit caused the compass and artifical horizon (as well as a few other things) to fail, so I had to find my way back to base with help from GCI. I was perhaps too careful with the landing, as I didn't know how much damage the missile hit did exact...

Playing the old dynamic campaign "Guardians of the Caucasus". The task is to intercept a NATO strike package en-route to Tiblisi. I get three kills despite having 0 situational awareness, land with an asymmetrical load and in a crosswind with 100 litres of fuel after an unsafe approach. A total win in my book.

This particular one requires no batteries at all. Newer models like the MTL-50 (shown at 06:43 ), or the VLC series need batteries, and their battery compartments are at the bottom of the camera body.

That implies only 1 out of 700 ppl is affected. The black death laughts about that with a rate of 1 out of 3. So the black death was 235 times deadlier as the French Revolution. And in total numbers killed of 28 Mio that equals the whole of France. Just to give more context. In the first ww1 20 Mio died in ww2 50 Mio died. WW1 500x more ppl died WW2 1250x more ppl died Revolutions were always exeggerated in history cause who is writing it? The elites with the privileges! And ordinary ppl let fool themselves and are afraid of change. If a revolution is threatened from outside war will break out cause the elites of other nations are in fear. But a revolution itself is far less bloody as wars, pest or natural desasters. And the incredible gifts of the French Revolution enables all our comfortable life's the whole human evolution to this point wouldnt have taken place. Most of us are blissfully ignorant that they would have been never born without the greatest event in European history. Add: sure ppl dying due violence is bad but there should be context to break up the lies

The whole point of my message was to set revolutions into context, that's only possible due numbers. Yes their are situations in which the costs of lofty ideals are to high. The whole point of my statement was that they (revolutions) are better as their reputation. And that the gained improvements far outweight the invested life's and passion.
If French Revolution killed few people, u can't even talk about Inquisition, lol. Just gi after the official numbers (even the bigger ones), calculate how much it must have killed per year and compare it with the French Revolution. I've already done this computation and the difference is surprising.

Thank's Avtomat, I remember reading this book while serving in the 8th ID (Mech) during the mid 80's outside Mainz, West Germany. Hearing the audio version is a real enjoyable flash back. It's a good story told from the other prospective but kinda of on the short side, that ends fast, still I listen to it over and over. There another one " Red Storm Rising " that's truly outstanding if you like these kind of stories 😎.
I read it 1989 while stationed at Augsburg, West Germany. Very sobering read.

Hi, you search for the "Sunny 16 - Rule" to make photos without a lightmeter :-) The standard setting you can take is with daylight and not fast moving objects Setting : aperture on the objective : 8 and shutter-speed 125... That´s the point you can go up and down because of the light, sharpness in the front or back, slow or fast objects... greetings and everytime nice pictures from germany Tobias😉😊
