Things are going to start happening fast now. Pretty soon you'll be getting new machines, new cars, maybe a swimming pool, etc. I just became subscriber number 431 (I think). I'm pretty good at finding little gems of channels that get few views then all of the sudden, I go back, and viola! they have a million views and are different people from whence they came. lol. It probably has more to do with some You tube algorithm but I'll take credit. Ignorance is bliss. Anyhow, you have a great channel and I enjoyed going through your videos. Its refreshing to see someone solving problems without simply throwing money at it. That honing machine! That mill! Incredible stuff. It looks like you could hone with the vehicle while in the car! Makes me wonder if it were from the 30s maybe 40s after the war when everything started booming? IDK. No. It couldn't be from the 20s. Everything is so exotic to me. I'm sure not to you, though. Good luck with all of the stuff you got going on and keep making these great videos please. BTW my ancestors came here to the us from England during your civil war, so I have a strange fascination with all of you anyways. I even collect antique English longbows (The ones with horn tips). As for machines I have an Alliant mill and a small southbend lathe, which I hope to improve some day. I'm half metal and half wood interests and today will be milling some aluminum so I can cut wood laminates to fix up my old wooden boat. I wish all the best to you.

How does it rate with a go pro in regards to close up shots as a GP does not do them well and the GP always overheats & shut down . At least , that is what my new GP 10 does . That is why i use my phone for videos now . Cheers 👍

It is not a good idea. Unfortunately, many devices needed to meet smog requirements are not good ideas. EGR sucks, but unfortunately, it seems making a diesel pass 2008 or later California smog means having loads of it. Just making engines better wasn't enough to lower the NOx rate. DEF was a way of using a lower EGR flow, but that was not without its own set of problems. Here in the USA, the 2008 Jetta and Golf diesel were EGR engines that did not use DEF. The Passat diesel did use DEF, along with less EGR flow. It turned out that even though the VW Jetta and Golf had that high EGR flow, there was a trick so that it would only come into play during EPA and California government smog tests. Dieselgate showed the VW Golf and Jetta diesel were basically frauds. The Passat was not a fraud thanks to DEF. I think in Europe they call the Jetta "VW Bora." I like VW because I like the way German cars feel, and I couldn't afford a BMW. Here in the USA, most cars are American, Japanese, or Korea. German cars are limited in sales. The few rich people do tend to buy BMW and Benz. VW is fairly unknown, but enthusiasts have always loved the GTI.

You could build in the possibility of diagonal supports from the side beams to the centre of the table angle irons to garuntee that they would not deflect under extreme pressure

What honing machine are you using? I used to use a honing head and a large B&D hand drill. Worked ok but hard work. Cheers

I learned to love lathes and engineering at school but ended up a plumber i now have three lathes and two mills among other machines and I still want a 40 taper turret mill and i dont have work for any of them unlike yourself

That fly cutter is terrifying... The manifold shifted during the broken stud drill-out. I may have missed it but I did not see you re-leveling it? Very nice finish on the surface!!!! Well done!

is it that there are hard spots in the cast iron that you choose CBN or is it your go to for the flycutter

I used the edge of a new razor blade cleaning the head ending showing the original machined surface, no one ever praise my work never made good money either.
