Hello and welcome! I started my channel in April, 2020. The central themes of this channel are animals, heritage trains, and travel. This channel features my “Terri Jo’s On the Go” series; vlogs and walking tours of different places I visit. This channel also features steam and diesel locomotives from heritage railroad stations. I also post freight trains on rare occasion. I genuinely enjoy creating content. It’s a fulfilling, therapeutic hobby. I love spending time with the animals; they are the stars of the show. Many of my videos are geared towards animal lovers. Many thanks to our pets for their companionship and unconditional love. Please be kind to animals. They’re one of our most vulnerable populations in society. The onus is on us to treat them with the respect and dignity they deserve.

I lived in Marcus Hook from 1945 to 1960. I wish you had shown the library, the movie theatre, and the building of American Visco where my father worked. I attended the public school and my sister and brother attended the Catholic school.
Now thats a real train.

"I am 67 years old and used to visit Lenape Amusement Park in Chester County, Pennsylvania, nearly every Saturday in the early 1970s with my father. Our visits weren't for the amusements, but rather for fishing along the Brandywine Creek. It's where I learned to fish and received many life lessons from my father. I remember shooting my first carp with a bow and arrow and catching my first catfish, bass, bluegill, and rock bass there. Before starting out, we always had breakfast at the famous 'Hank's Place' restaurant along rt1. I have such fond memories of the park, from the bumper cars and the actual steel .22 caliber shooting gallery, to the wooden roller coaster and canoe rentals at the top of the waterfall."
Hello 👋 thanks so much for sharing the fond memories you shared with your father. Hank’s Place is still open for business and doing well. They had a flood about two years ago so they relocated from Route 1 to Kennet Square. Currently they’re rebuilding at the Route 1 location. However, the building will be about 5 feet from the ground to avoid future flooding.

My family origins are from Chester. My grandparents were the first residents in Chester Towers, which isn't there anymore. They relocated from the projects where I fondly remember running carefree alond the concrete backyard.😂 And yes, Chester High School is still open.
