GRAND FUNK RAILROAD Inside Looking Out1
He was “The Artful Dodger”
Unfortunately, he left us way to soon 🙏🏻
Marriott in his earlier years was always a good guitarist, by this time he had become a great guitarist.
Miss you man
Gigantic talent he was.
Spoke to him on this tour he hadn't had that guitar very long.
I’m watching this for the first time and even though I loved humble pie, I cannot even imagine why Steve had other guitar players in his bands. he always had the absolute depth of the blues and what he wanted to project. I’m sad. I never got to see him live.
He used to play The Bridgehouse pub in Canning Town with his band Packet Of Three…..he wasn’t precious about being famous…….he just loved to play.
The HUMBLE PIE rockin the filmore album is the best ever. Marriott and Frampton together.
Absolutely the TOP !!!
Total class.
This man lived the blues, playing the blues came natural to him. What a great performance
🕶️💙
I always tried to play like this but it never came out sounding the same.
Wow!!! I really had no idea that he was a great blues guitarist, on top of everything else. Somehow, the pinnacle of stardom eluded this guy. he belongs in the pantheon of blues/rock greats.
Stardom didn't ignore Steve ! He was a huge star. Guess you had to have been there. Glad I was.
Love the music 💙💙🌟💙🌟💙🌟💙🎤🎸🌟⭐️💫
Best blues singer ever
Steve deserves way more acknowledgement he was amazing
at first i thought that was the song length
Fuckin legend. 🤘🏻
He was an actor as well .. played in a couple of british movies in early 60's i believe.
Such a sad loss.. He was my favorite male vocalist ❤ Miss this guy
🎼🎵🎶🎵
Man this guy is so fn rock n roll. I’m a late bloomer to mariott but damn he may be my new favorite singer.
STEVEEEEE......YESSS
Saw Steve Marriott back in 1988 in a local pub, the Archery in Eastbourne, (been pulled down now.) fronting a blues outfit. I think they were the DJ's. Not sure. One of the best gigs I ever went to. Pub was packed out band were good and Steve was just great....and I think the ticket was a fiver!!
Steve was supported by The DTs, a band from Leicester. Saw them play in Ilfracombe the following year. Superb.
Whoah!! Love Steve Marriot!! First time hearing this amazing !!!!
Wow steve amazing blues ,what a musician and vocalist you are and always will be .
Superb!!
Fuck me...thats cooking
Wow...heard this come on the home player and wouldn't tell me what it was,or who..too smooth to be Freddy King but with all his gusto...but Marriotts voice is not something Ive ever heard replicated...If I was a English man I would say SMASHING!!!...Time to pull out the 335 and put this one under my fingers...dont know who will sing it... But oh well
I think maybe Rod Stewart wanted to be Steve Marriott
This gives me goosebumps Steve doesn’t get nearly enough recognition for being the top-notch singer guitar player and composer and band leader that he was … he sort of gets overshadowed by Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy page. Maybe there was something in the water over there, but he was right up there with those guys And plus .. none of those guys could sing like him not even close
I was never aware he was this good at guitar. I put him in my top 5 vocalists ever but this…..This is insane talent.
Ean Evans, Gary Rossington, Billy Powell, Hughie Thomasson. May they rest well.
I have never witnessed any CLAPTON footage that can even come near this! If there is something out there? Let me know....
eat your heart out jimmy
Legend blues
Easily my absolute favourite of the genius of this man to wear his personal experience in a blues performance
🥶 This gives me the Chills!!!
Huble pie seco blue
Talented is too small a word for this guy’s amazing skill and performance
I always knew Steve Marriott for his amazing voice, but didn’t realize he was such an amazing player as well
He's better than stevie ray n no one noticed
Clapton had nothing on this guy!
no love lost my man,,, i love yuse
The first time I ever heard him he stopped me dead in my tracks. This just sizzles. The energy...WOW!

My favorite rock and roll artist of all time. Great singer, great guitar player, great songwriter. RIP the little human dynamo Steve Marriot.
So good.
