The stihl fs-94 is the best Weedeater I’ve used in awhile! I remember back in the early 90’s John Deere made a really good Weedeater! A joint project with Ecco! I’ve been in lawn care for 25+ years

Just got a VRide 36. This vid is very helpful. As someone new to stand on mowing, hills are very tricky (and daunting) to get the hang of. This helps a lot!

Had to replace the bottle jack on mine after 5 years. About $45 ( not bad) but shipping was VERY SLOW! Almost 3-weeks.

Well I got mine and use the largest line recommended. I took it to a ladies home who’s elderly and hasn’t been able to maintain her yard for a few years. She had mowed it but not really weed eat or anything so one corner had grass taller then me so I went to work on it and after a few minutes uncovered an old boat buried in the weeds. I could not be happier then I am knowing i can slice through the thickest brush but I do want to caution one thing and that is a lot of people use weed eater around their homes and wear shorts. Since this is far more powerful and with a tougher line what would typically break the line will now be thrown by the line and pelt your legs if your not careful. Strongly recommend wearing pants when using this beast.

I just bought one for 525, the salesman gave me 75 off! Anyways i absolutely love it and I only use it for thick weeds/brush. I have a smaler SRM 230 for everything else.

Why does it have the old style throttle trigger? Those triggers are none for breaking off over time. Echo solved this problem with their new trigger style. Otherwise, we know it will run good.... it's an Echo!!!

how do you like teh stand on vs the sit down? my friends are trying to get me to make teh change but I am relectant. I am 56 and I am worried about my legs/knees after a long day. Sitting doesnt bother me at all. Have a Ferris 43 " which rides like a dream

I know there is no replacement for displacement. How is the vibration? I know with Echo their 2620T uses a cable and will vibrate you too much to use at cemeteries in comparison to the 525lst Husky. As for the 535LS husky I have. It doesn’t vibrate much and is pretty powerful…vibration much smoother than my Stihl 240r which I use a 3 point 10” blade on for small woody stuff. I think the weight on your echo may be a couple pounds more than the 240r which is heavy. I’d like to be able to run some thick string on it, like .130 maybe .155 do they make a head that will fit my cyclone .155 string? The 2620T uses same threads as my 525lst, was wondering if that bigger echo was same as the 2620T or if it has a bigger 12mm attachment like my 535ls? By the way if you haven’t tried one definitely try a 535ls or LST because they only weigh 12.5 pounds in comparison to the 240r weighing nearly 15 pounds…very smooth too. I’m considering a 410x though because I do weedeat hillsides and large overgrown ditches

I have one of these. It's heavy, so use the chest harness that comes with it or buy the upgraded harness from Echo. It burns through a tank of gas in no time. I can't believe how much fuel it sucks down! But you get through the brush with this faster than anything. Awesome machine!

Cant beat the reliability of echo trimmers, my current 225 spent several years being beaten up by seasonal kids at a parks department, another several years at my dad's, and still starts up in a handful of pulls and runs like a champ for me with no real maintenance other than air filters.

That 801 will run strong for a long long time too 😊

Duck bill on air filter should point down to let debris out.
