My friends tell me I'm like a knock-off Etho and recently I realised that I haven't changed my Minecraft skin since August or September 2013. Maybe they're right.

I will also point out that in the 5:02 skin grian also used this skin for another spin off series of the yandere high school where they were kids and also in 6:24 he is actually a wizard in this skin!

Grian with the bdubs skin was from the SoS stream that made him bald. When it happened everyone swapped skins with eachother and he got bdubs aswell as him being bald

What a touching tribute; thank you for this. Jellie purring in the mic at the end legitimately made my eyes water again, just like the day she passed. I realize I'm a bit late here, but I only just discovered your channel, and perusing older videos and seeing her again hit me like a sack of bricks. Hopefully it's been enough time that Scar's pain has moved to bittersweetness, but as someone that's buried a few cats in my life, I know that pain never really subsides.

Etho influences me and my playstyle so much. I never made the connection to my skin history being roughly the same as his though, until just now. I started playing just a few months before 1.5 released (the update where he would invent The Etho Hopper Clock, one of my most used redstone contraptions), and a few days after starting, I found a Squall Leonheart skin that I really liked (the main player character from Final Fantasy VIII). I've only changed it once, and that was when 1.8 dropped. The girl I was dating at the time did a minor update for me, adding layers to make it more textured. It hasn't changed since, even outlasting the relationship. My alt account though... yeah, that's had dozens of skins and several name changes. Wouldn't be surprised to find out the same for Etho, silently and secretly out there playing on small servers.

I believe ceo grian around 12 min 50 sec is meant to resemble Steve Jobs from Apple. He was the one with that image of the dark turtle neck and slacks. Bill gates of Microsoft is often seen wearing business casual or light plaid button down shirts and jeans or slacks. Im not trying to pick on you at all just having grown up alongside these guys progression and work their image is kinda burned in my head lmao it was a very fun video enjoyed it very much 😊

It wasnt specific, but on the latest episode of the Imp and Skizz Podcast, they interviewed Etho and he reveleaded that the Mario Skin was based on the NES Mario, and that a lot of other people had that exact same skin. Great video!

14:17 i believe it was in the episode in season 6 where grian broke the concrete machine, when he did a bit about being there for so long UPDATE: i found it, it's in season 6, episode 92 at 12:42 in his video 17:53 pink apron grian was "housewife grian" where grian and impulse did a collab to kill off iskall, winner of demise. you can see the skin in iskall's episode 178, "the ride of my life" (i'm assuming the iskall skin also had something to do with that) 18:02 in episode 14, s7, grian and scar carry out their execution plan to win the head games. grian uses that skin while killing villagers In mcc 13, grian had a purple sweater with a snowman on it and a purple hat. you can see it from other's povs, he made it to dodgebolt but lost to cyan

Don't know when or where, but I am confident to say that Etho has mentioned that he had issues with changing his skin regarding the Alex model for skins in the past and this withheld him from changing stuff as well.

I think a chairety event won't let Etho change his skin. I think Etho will change his skin when he feels like it and is not being told to.

I would love to see a Joel skin history (even though the video would be multiple hours probably)

There was a skin swap charity event (season 8?) and I beleive that Etho was supposed to switch with either Cleo or Stress? I don't think it ever ended up happening because Etho had quit playing for his real life reasons at the time, but that was another potential Etho skin swap.

Finding out about the active/newer (i've been here since forever) ethoslab fans, is so wild to me. Like recently I found out there's the self proclaimed 'ethogirls' from the skiz podcast's top comment lol. Always been a passive fan- ie. only watch videos and it's so neat to see the actual communities be them new or old recently, like it feels like Platos Cave Allegory is my life lmao
