I get this was made 6 years ago, but having an arm/wrist cast for months can be difficult, i struggle with moving it around , and my fingers moving. And also the bags aren't that safe cause they can break during the wear. A better option it professional aqua cast bags that seal at the top of you're arm
I had surgery on my right hand one year ago for carpel tunnel syndrome....my fingers are still swollen. And painful....y middle finger is all butunuseab m e and numb..middle and last two fingers have developed Duphens contraction and very difficult to grasp any..I can't not make a fist or grip tightly...what we t wrong..Dr did not do any exam of cervical a😊rea or side neck or shoulder area....
You're great at these short, informative videos! Would love to see more videos on different topics. I'm 6 days out from an ulnar nerve decompression surgery. I could have used some of your tips and tricks! My hand has been weak for a while so I'll start using your shampoo tip today. Thanks!
The local Anästhesie was very painful. Is there any help to reduce, for me it was traumatíc, the Pain of the Injektion
Id pay her to help me
In wrapping cast padding or dressing, always wrap distal to proximal
THANK YOU!!! Great advices!
Hey Lara, I see you haven’t posted in a while but I wanted you to know that your videos have been super helpful. I am having bilateral endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery in a couple of weeks and have been looking for info. This video is by far the most helpful I have found. Thank you!
What's with the annoying music?
Good, Thx
Watch out for your opposite shoulder. That will really suffer after several weeks... If you don't have any help.
Excellent video Very informative
Its been 2,5 months after surgery There’s been improvements but not full recovery and sometimes i still get swelling if working with hammer or similar Is this normal? Would i ever get full recovery?
Had both my wrists and right ankle done at same time. I had a lot of pain and was totally unable to help myself or do anything for myself for weeks. Also could not return to work as I am a nursery teacher.
I'm confused. The ligament is cut? Don't we need that ligament?
Is it worth it having the surgery
I had open surgery 2 weeks ago nd signs away of numbness my wrist stiffed and even burning sensation on surgey spot
Excellent presentation
WILL MY STRENGTH COME BACK OR INCREASE AFTER HEALING FROM THIS CARPAL TUNNEL PROCEDURE?
It's a lot easier without the accompanying agonising pain, also I couldn't open ring pull cans as two hands are required, and I haven't the strength in the uninjured hand to pull back. Very tired as well as the body puts the energy inyo healing the bone.
Had right wrist and elbow done at the same time. It felt great and not as painful as expected. Back to work before 2 weeks.
How can you apply ice if you have a thick bandage after surgery?
I’m 10 days out on the right and 24 days on the left - this video is the best by far of the many I’ve seen. Great information, thanks very much
loved the video. the rest of my house I woke up with it weren't a huge fan of the music volume tho xD
Had it done today on dominate hand. This is more painful than she leads on and some of you that had no pain? 🙄
What do you do about the 72 hours of itching that make you want to tear your eyes out.
F off 24 hours Is nothing. You know nothing Laura
Thanks a lot I will do that operation today wish me luck 🤲🤲
I have had 330 fractures and would have 332 just to get you to put a cast on me like holy shit.
Is Ulner nerve decompression about the same or worse recovery?
Thanks for all the ideas!
I couldn't figure out where that loud rock music was coming from.
I was back at work the afternoon of my surgery. Piece of cake.
Thank u
Lara, look at our product! We have created one of the greatest life hacks!
just got carpal tunnel release in my left hand today. im having a real hard time wiping my Butt. i dont know what to do. i just trying to be careful about it.. i know it sounds disgusting and im sorry but its the truth
I know! I did too. I felt like a contortionist using the other hand lol 😂
@LescoBrandon-ff4ms lol 😂
One thing to mention on your video. You are using all your fingers to do stuff. I have a broken wrist in a cast on my wrist and my fingers cannot be used. So the video is a little misleading
That music ruins the presentation of the video!
I think I heard a o tot say no baby powder😮
Thank you so much for sharing. Your video addressed my concerns. ❤
Thank You!!
Ice is your bff for this surgery. If you don’t ice your hand the pain can be intolerable
How can you ice if you have a thick bandage after the surgery? Thank you.
This video is helpful. How do you ice it? Is it on top of the cast? Thank you for sharing this awesome video. Just had my surgery done today.
Open CTS SURGERY RECOVERY PLS
2 freaking commercials 1 minute into the video, CZcams is now worse than what broadcast and cable tv used to be! DISRUPTION NEEDED
Is there anyway to incorporate some kind of pencil holder in a new cast? i.e. Velcro. Thank you
I WAS AWAKE FOR THE SURGERY WITH LOCAL NUMBING INJECTION 💉 IN MY WRIST AND AROUND THE SITE TO MAKE IT VERY NUMBING FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS AFTER I HAD NO PAIN IN MY HAND 🖐
PA Luara Where did you find the ace wraps at
Thank you SO much for the suggestion of OB vet gloves. This was my second carpal tunnel surgery and I didn't know about them the first time. In fact, I just told my surgeon and he had never heard of that and loved the idea. So much easier! Thank you. Thank you!
Ouh darn... The most important one. A hack for when you literally need to make an entire day trip to the fracture clinic since they're not local, and as soon as you come home, your toddler slips it right off just as easy as a sweater sleeve. It nearly falls off its so loose. So, any tips to remould the cast to get a tighter fit without needing to waste another entire day driving?
