This is my first attempt making a video. I spent a long time trying to come up with outside the box combos that would deal the most amount of damage, with no set up beforehand. UPDATE: As I'm uploading this vid Test Subject has been officially changed meaning I was right not to do a combo with him, possibly there is one with his new form, however it would require an empty deck like the Garrote ...
Nice video, I think I'll plagiarize it 😆
Oh no. Another person who didn't watch Kimba, arguing that the Lion King ripped it off. How I know you didn't watch it is that your description of Kimba is literally just wrong. Kimba didn't go into hiding after his father's death. He wasn't even born yet. On top of this he doesn't fight Hyenas. The Hyena characters in Kimba are comic relief greaser villains. They are more like Team Rocket than anything else. It's baffling anyone is still making these comparisons when the most viewed video on this platform about Kimba is literally a 2 1/2 hour rebuttal to this controversy.
"how are people making these comparisons that have been made since Lion King came out and its an extremely famous example, when this youtube channel I watch already debunked everything a couple years ago". If you really took a joke i made at the beginning of the section as my entire point for that whole segment instead of actually watching it, then thats whats actually baffling. i think the part where i said "i dont think its copied" should be pretty obvious where i stood on this.
Maybe before you comment "Lion King didnt copy Kimba" watch the full segment!
videos like this make me glad yms put out that kimba mega-doc
The Lion King did not copy Kimba, anyone who has seen the minimum of Kimba knows that it has nothing to do with either the story or the characters. This rumor began to spread on the internet a few years ago and people take it as an example of copying, just for a couple of screenshots of specific points between a series of hundreds of chapters and movies and a movie of less than two hours, which What's worse is that there is no context for anything in these videos and some believe that Kimba and the Lion King have the same story when they have nothing to do with each other. Sorry for The Bad english
i mean i addressed it in the video as well, but there were people who said it was copied even when it came out, although mostly Japanese animators who were "outraged" by western studio "snubbing" them. As well as other articles and essays written in the 90s about the topic. So while again I also agree it probably wasnt "copied", its not true this a new discussion from the internet
Bozu, that hell you are walking into.
I love when things have such similar ideas and execution due to dumb luck. I remember hearing that there are two completely different Dennis the menace shows both made in March of 1951. 😂
The human brain is naturally disposed to look for connections so it is easy to draw comparisons and forcefully accuse someone of stealing ideas even if they are innocent. In the end I think the most important issue really will be ai which does feed directly from others work intentionally.
Why the reupload?
@Clozent made some edits specifically to the end of the Kimba/Lion King section because the way I addressed it didn't sit right with me. Additionally wanted to add back in a section of the original script where I talked about coco
Thanks Capitalism! 👍

Lion King wasn't stolen from Kimba.
when I dont watch the full video:
@@Forcoy and I don't mind to show it. I just commented, so some, who might not know about it, see my comment and find out the truth.
@@JustStop19 They already would've known the truth if they watched it themselves. There's an entire end section for that part dedicated to it.
peak
I never forget how toast did the mechathun combo… from yogg… and the opponent’s deck
King Krush: observe. *Becomes marketable*
how can u mess up the pronunciation of maradona so bad?
Name a more iconic duo than speed running and cheating.
He wanna be emplemon so bad
this is like emplemon but without the green overlay. The inspiration is obvious, but this video was still very well researched. good job, nice video from a small channel, but maybe tune down the emplemon inspiration and add in a bit more of your own. Excited to see your next works :)
Love the Pokémon music
why is home advantage in a cheating video? i don't know much about american sports, but normally you do one home and one away game to give both teams the home advantage. not sure why this is in a cheating video rly
I am so confused about 14:33 The move made by the king is legal right? But then he just gets rid of his own pawn. What
Here at 260,829 views.
Very good
11:38 Oliver Barnett was also caught cheating at a Pokemon Regionals. On livestream, he picked up a prize card after ko'ing a pokemon and quickly switched it once he realised it wasn't the one he needed to win the game
the fucking pokeduels tweet in the thumbnail 😂
16:02 did the guy whose card was eaten call the police??
The best footage for cheating from yugioh to use in the beginning could have been with Manjoume in GX Season 4, when he draws a card other than the topmost one of his deck to avoid a loss. He is caught and shamed in the pro league.
A few points of criticism: first, i agree with many others before, the Inferno-thing feels hamfisted and poorly executed and your choice of sport could have been more international (you don't even need other countries internal sports, you could've looked at international competitions). But more importantly: this video is supposedly really about Hearthstone. But for me, it's 20 minutes mildly interesting content about general cheating and 10 minutes barely intelligible talk about a game I don't know. Nothing in the thumbnail or the beginning of the video told me that this video was for fans of the game, and you really seem interested in telling this Hearthstone cheating scandal to a wider audience. I think that would've worked way better if it had been the true focus of the video, introducing the viewer to the necessary concepts bit by bit from the beginning. Sure, it's a bit niche, but if you really believe in this story, tell that and don't hide it behind other content
Taipei isn’t China
You called a football goal... a point. LMAO
18:13 would you have gotten the video demonetized for saying Taiwan here?
yeah thats why i said "Taiwanese Hearthstone players" when referring to the same players at 6:53. has nothing to do with the fact that on screen it shows their team name was "Chinese Taipei"
@@pymbette point taken
I did NOT need to be reminded about the Fail Mary against Seattle. That play will forever haunt me
DONT CALL IT CHINESE TAIPEI ITS FUCKING TAIWAN. Get it right and don’t insult an entire country of great people. Idk enough abt this channel to tell if it was on purpose or not but I’m giving u the benefit of the doubt this time bc it was still a great vid otherwise. Pls just do better next time :/
@ianovenden984 that's literally their team name, its on the screen. I called them Taiwanese players so it's pretty clear where I stand on it
Really wished you mentioned some Battlebots cheating controversies, they are really dang interesting.
manipulating basic game equipment like footballs(Thomas Brady). worst of the worst.
Even if God told me I'd never get caught, I'd rather lose than cheat. If you cheated, you didn't win. tavi.
well done, a great deal of effort went into the video and I learned some interesting stuff.
How are you gonna show DmC instead of Dante’s Inferno
I wish I knew this was a video about baseball and Hearthstone before watching it all
Maybe call this video "Cheating in baseball and card games" the title is misleading.
Great video ❤ watched it wholly, you made competitive hearthstone to somebody who only tried it for 4/5 matches back in 2016, amazing content overall :D
We call the move you pull around 24:30 the "hbomberguy"
i'm not very into sports or hearthstone but i DO remember the 2012 Seahawks-Packers game you mentioned. mostly because my family were the only Seahawks fans at a Packers party, and i was really condescending towards the host when the Seahawks won, and he punched a hole through his wall. even knowing about how it was probably a cheated win it is still immensely funny to me
13:11 Accidentally? He did it on purpose. Anyways, he's in a box now so we can all celebrate
Really cool video
No way did my guy just take Dante’s Inferno and try to connect it to cheating in competitive games. I can’t take the rest of this video seriously anymore.
Having Pegasus in the intro is extremely apt. Awesome video!
Can't stop myself from mentioning the Runick cards in YuGiOh. Runick is, by design, a deck out strategy, centered around recycling spells that both disrupt your opponent and banish cards off the top of their deck. Egg on my face if you mentioned it in your previous video that I'm about to watch.
not talking about motorsports going around the rulebook?
