@trentdawg2832 Thank you so much my friend! I truly appreciate your comment! It means a lot to me! Have a blessed evening my friend and God bless you and your family!
HELLO MR. JIMMY & MRS. PIB You got that right Buddy I've collected parts for my 46 Chevy Business coupe for years parts up to a 48 😂 55 p.ups.C10s Studebakers, 32 ford p.up ECT ! Those are like Gold today ! 😂 Have a Great Day Friend ! 😁✌
You are just like me my friend! Lol. We're Hoarders! Lol. Thanks for letting me know that I am not the only one! Lol. Have a blessed day today my friend and God bless you!
Getting rid of stuff helps clear the mind from clutter, organizing and have more elbow room
Absolutely right! Feeling better already! Thanks buddy for your comment!
Well done Jimmy. I think I know what your up to. Now you have room for more C10 parts! Dont worry I wont tell Mrs. PIB. 😉
Lol. You're right! You are so smart! I'm proud of you buddy!
Happy to see Jimmy let some parts go. Mrs. PIB keeps Jimmy out of hoarding trouble. Have a blessed week.
You know me very well my friend! Thank you so much and God bless you!
Take the MK, Buy the water pump and any hard to get parts ahead of time. Have a safe trip.
Thanks for your help!
Good on ya for realizing you don't need this extra stuff, Jimmy. 👍👍 Most older hoarders just don't have the mental clarity to make this wise decision and just leave it for their families to try to sort out after they pass away.
Thank you!
Jimmy we all hoard parts, I've got parts that I don't even know I have. My neighbors kid is rebuilding a 73 AMC Hornet and I had a set of fenders off a 74 Hornet in the loft in my shop, no frigging idea where I even got them. His mom made sure I didn't "Give" them to him, she told me he had to earn them, she said he work them off over a weekend, so I made him sweep my shop and then took him to a cars and coffee so we could pick out a color. I don't give him anything anyway, Everything that gets done on the car he does, his Step dad and I just tell him him how to do it.
You and I are a lot alike! Lol. A 73 Hornet is a pretty rare car! I've always liked AMC vehicles and I wish that they were still around today. Good vehicles! You and that young man's Step Dad are doing a great job with him. Tell him to send me a video of the Hornet sometime so I can put it on my CZcams Channel! That would be great! Have a blessed day today my friend and God bless you!
What about all those used 15" tires you've got strung all over the walls of your back yard shed?? Can't see you ever needing them as you're pretty much a 20" Torq Thrust guy now. I do think every Squarebody guy needs one, full good set of the original 15" steel wheels with good tires for hauling the next project home. But that's all you need when it comes to extra wheels and tires. 3:17 You definitely need to get rid of the C10 hubcaps. (See previous Torq Thrust comment.)
I'm not worried about the wheels and tires. They don't take up much room. As I said, anything for a Chevy C10 truck us staying. Including the hubcaps.
Jimmy I know what you're talking about between what my father used to collect cuz he worked on muscle cars and street rods in between what I have I have enough to probably fill up your pickup truck 40 times engines Transmissions fenders body parts rear ends LOL
Yes, you know what I am talking about my friend! Thanks for your comment and for watching the video!
Good morning Mr Primerd I'm proud of you

You're right! I am very blessed to have her in my life! Thanks buddy for your comment! Have a blessed day today!
I think your going in the wrong direction. The rest of the truck does not really have that "patina look". I would have tried to match the hood with the rest of the truck. I think a bunch of yes man comments are misleading
I appreciate your opinion my friend! I appreciate it!
I'd take the chevy because my dad has a 2001 gmc sierra 2500hd and it's comfortable on the highway and it fast.
Thanks buddy! That makes good sense! Have a blessed day today my friend!
1. Get rid of the Lincoln. 2. Get a Cadillac. 3. Take the Caddy! 😂
Thanks for the good laugh buddy! I appreciate it!
The Lincoln MKZ needs driven. It's comfortable and will help reduce stress, otherwise you may never hear the end of it from your spouse. If you need luggage room, you'll need the truck. If you'd prefer to save on fuel, the Hyundai will save you a ton. I'm sorry to hear you have a seafood allergy, Jimmy. Fish and the like is tasty, though to some folks, it makes the body mighty offended.
Good morning my friend! I might have miss spoke, but I don't have a fish allergy. I just bought a steak at a fancy seafood restaurant! I won't that again! Lol. Everyone in our family who ate fish was fine! But I wasn't since I ordered a steak. I appreciate your help on the vehicles too buddy! You're a great friend! God bless you!
@@primeredisbest Understood. Thanks for clarifying. Blessed.
@999thenewman. Your very welcome my friend!
Hi Papa ! Mrs PIB ! I WOULD TAKE THE TRUCK.. FOR THE REASON IS, I WOULD FILL SAFER. IN SUCH A BIG VEHICLE.. BUT THEN AGAIN, THAT'S JUST MY OPINION. BUT MUCHO OF GOD'S TRAVELING MERCY'S ON YOU BOTH. WE ALL LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU MUCHO.
Thank you buddy for your help! I appreciate your comment and opinion! God bless you and your family always!
I got the tobacco farm 1984 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 home. It has the 305 with the automatic trans. The owner who bought the 1994 new had the local GMC dealer put a new engine and trans in I believe she said in 2002 but they had a few other newer trucks by then and didn’t drive it much. Body is good, just some minor repairs needed. Long bed. I got it started and it ran about 15 minutes then quit. Not bad for sitting for 10 years. Power steering wasn’t working but may just need fluid. It quit before I put it in gear to check the trans. Now I am cleaning all the connections. They parked it in 2014. I had a 1980 Chevy half ton with the 250 six and three speed on the column years ago. Had a 1965 step side with 283 4 speed in the 80s. If the drivetrain turns out to be good, I will keep the 305. If not I will probably take off all the emissions stuff and drop a 350 in it. Going to tag it antique so no inspection.
Congratulations on your purchase of that truck! Sounds like a good one and it's already wanting to run too! Lol. Please keep me posted on your progress my friend! I really hope that the 305 and the transmission will turn to be good! Thanks buddy!
To tell you the truth the Chevy truck may get less gas mileage but you can find parts for it a lot easier than you can for the Lincoln AutoZone O'Reilly's any parts store carry parts for the truck and that a cheaper price and it would cost to buy parts for the Lincoln. Not to mention if you happen to find something down there in Florida that y'all like y'all have the bed of the truck to put it in. But you know this is just my opinion have a blessed day.
I appreciate your comment and help my friend! You have a very good point! Thanks buddy! I truly appreciate it!
those 3.5s are no joke
You're right!
The pick up is the best choice. Super comfy, good ride.
Thank you! I really appreciate your comment and help my friend!
Hey dude bro old man Jimmy and your wife Mrs. Primer is best i weather y'all can be there fast in a hurry up to y'all's vacation when ever decide to go out on a vacation trip to Florida or else maybe California or else maybe here in Alabama into y'all 2003 Chevrolet Silverado Cat eyed pickup truck by y'all trailering y'all's Hyundai accent or else maybe the black 2008 Lincoln mkz sedan.
Thanks buddy for your help and comment! I sure do appreciate it! Have a blessed day today my friend!
I would want to go in the truck, but I would go in the car because of the better gas mileage.
Thanks buddy! It's always good to hear from you! God bless you!
Mr. & Mrs. PIB, I would take the Lincoln all day long. Your backs will thank you for the smoooooth ride! Have a great day and blessings to you both!! Mark
Thank you so much for your help! I appreciate your thoughts on the vehicles! Have a blessed day today my friend and God bless you and your family always!
Obvyyiu haven’t sat in the plush interior 99-07 gm cloth truck interiors. Maybe refresh the foam in drivers seat by this point.
@alfredoibarra9825. My seat is fine in my Cat-Eye Truck. It rides fine and comfy. Thanks!
Jimmy, I would take the Lincoln in a heartbeat ! Don't think about what might happen, just deal with it if it does! Y'all would much more comfortable in it! I love trucks! Thats why I'm subscribed to your channel, but some of them just aren't as comfortable on the highway! Take that Lincoln !
@jeffincabo Thank you for your help and comment! I truly appreciate it so much my friend!
For just you and the wife I would take the Lincoln 80k is nothing!
@jeffries31 Thank you buddy! I appreciate your help!
i would drive the truck just in case i found some c10 parts along my way plus as you say in the event of a break down a whole lot easier to fix. Plus, in the event of an accident where would you find another Lincoln like that the cat eye would be easier to replace.
@user-yu5ib5js5s You have a very interesting point of view! A Junkyard Adventure might be in the mix on the vacation! Lol. Thank you so much for your help my friend! I truly appreciate it!
Good morning Jimmy that Lincoln you have there if the water pump goes out on that it's about $800 to fix I would probably take the truck but at the end of the day it's cheaper to rent a car and put the wear and tear on the rental car where were y'all decide to go on vacation I wish you the best take care and God bless
@jeffdickens7019 You're right about the water pump. The truck might be the best choice. Renting a car might ve a good option. I'll check on that Rental car costs. Thanks for your help my friend and God bless you!
I agree Jimmy take the cat eye. It'll require more fuel but the trade off for extra space will be worth it in case y'all hit a motherlode of truck parts at a yard sale somewhere! Whatever y'all decide just be sure to prepare for any encumbrance due to the incoming Saharan dust, dirty rain etc. Perhaps a rental vehicle to consider? Money spent up front but would save wear and tear on your daily drivers. Gravity is so weird ain't it? It has the power to hold down trillions of tons of ocean water to the surface and stretch it into the shape of a ball with a 25,000 mile circumference, while simultaneously allowing all that lightweight dust to just fly around all willy nilly across that very same ocean to make it's way here! I know trade winds right? But you'd think there would be enough moisture in the air to turn the dust into mud that would simply fall to the oceans surface before it could ever begin that long journey!
@jukeboxzero4373 I really enjoyed reading your comment my friend! You have a very good point as well. Going to a Junkyard usually happens when we go on vacation! Lol. The truck might be better suited for that purpose. I truly appreciate your help my friend! Thanks so much!
Personally I'd drive the Lincoln. Pumps and pulleys can can go out on your way to Walmart or timbucktwo. I've come to the realization that my firebird + my sciatica = severe back pain😂 soooo ill be sending you a vid of my soon to be new to me big Ole G20 van😊

Cosidering comfort and gas mileage I am sure that the Lincoln would be better. If you were going to haul anything of course take the Cat Eye.
Thank you buddy for your help! It's much appreciated!
