Hey Dean I'm glad you like it! 😊 I wish I had the tabs for you, but I usually figure out songs by ear and by watching live performances. I only write tabs when a song is too complex to remember (sadly Grey Garden isn’t one of them 🥲). I think this song isn't too tough to write in tabs so if you can wait, I’ll try to write it out and let you know when it's done my friend🤘🏽

Heyy, thanks for the compliment! It's been a while since I did this cover so I might not remember everything perfectly 🤣. But I’m pretty sure I used a ProCo Rat2 for both lead and rhythm guitar. For the lead part, I added lots of modulated reverb from a Boss RV-6, some delay from a Zoom MS-50G (around 3XX ms delay time with a long feedback setting), and a JHS 3 Series Chorus (low rate and low depth). If you have a reverb pedal with a mix/blend knob, turn it to around 80%-90% and it will work just fine for most of Slowdive's lead part. Hope that helps!

It's a bootleg shirt I'm not sure where it was originally sold but I got it from a 2nd hand t-shirt shop on Instagram (The shop's name "klassshirts" and based in Thailand, I'm not sure if they ship overseas or not but you can try your luck)

Thank you! I actually spent a lot of time experimenting to get as close as possible to that warbly/twangy tone you mentioned (yes, I failed in the end)🤣. To me, that tone in the actual track almost sounds like a sitar, so I tried to replicate that sitar-like on my guitar. I came across a tutorial video on how to create a Sitar sound using a Zoom G1xon. In the video, the creator stacked a flanger with a pitch shifter, by keeping the flanger at a very low rate and the pitch shifter set to 1 octave up. While this did produce a sitar-like sound, it still didn't sound like that warbly tone in the actual track. So in the end, I went with a mix of flanger and tape delay instead, as you can see in the video description (it still doesn't sound close to the actual track but it sits better in the mix compared with using the pitch shifter). Maybe if you can find a better way to fine-tune the sitar sound it might get you close to that tone.

You're very welcome my friend! I'm sure it will sound beautifully different on acoustic guitar. For other bands from Thailand that are similar to Inspirative, you might enjoy "Hope the Flowers." I'd also recommend checking out Desktop Error, Monomania, Wednesday, Mole the Explosion, Aire, and January. These bands might not closely match Inspirative's sound but they do share certain vibes in their unique ways. If you're into Math rock/Midwest emo, Aire and January are perfect choices. It's worth noting that the current Inspirative guitarist played for Monomania before joining Inspirative (I've covered this band on my channel😋 ). And if you're a fellow Shoegaze enthusiast like me, I highly recommend Desktop Error by starting with their track "น้ำค้าง", I love this band as much as I love Inspirative.
