I just started watching this movie, March 21, 2024, got 10 mins in and turned it off. They were doing action / mayhem for the sake of action / mayhem. Totally inept cops and bank guards stand around watching while a woman is stripping and walking into the street, two armored car guards start shooting up the bank, a bank employee walks out with a safe deposit box and gets in the armored car, then she drives it into the middle of the mayhem of several cars that have crashed with a guy flying through a windshield. Don't bother with this movie

This movie sucked and Affleck phoned it in.

Calling it. The main character was hypnotized to hallucinate that he had either (1) a daughter his whole life or (2) his daughter died and she's actually alive somewhere. And this will be all done to assist the villain's master plan of sorts. There ... now you can save yourself a few hours.

A horribly over the top premise that would have made for a better superhero movie villain's powers. As is, its a hollywood trope movie using what hollywood thinks you can do with Hypnosis which is not based in any facts or reality. You cannot hypnotize someone into thinking they are a chicken and then they act like one and you sure as hell cannot just look at someone, say a few words and they are under your spell 100% zombified and unthinking with no will of their own. By 25 minutes in, I had to stop watching it was so cliché.

the movie feels very ameture, like made by a very new director with base level coockie cutter direction. not bad , but i would not remember this movie after 1 week.
