I play CV's occasionally and your gameplays are always good, even this one, but the Russian carriers were just made to exploit every BS WG gave to carriers, from long range attack to last fighting squadron, with really good damage becouse the planes are "fragile" but not really, if there is one carrier I hate is a russian carrier, hopefully with the rework they will get nerfed quite a bit, it's way too easy to do a good game with them, all the carriers should be balanced like the japanese ones in my opinion

I always wondered about fighters tagging on ASW planes. I heard that they did so I tried it several times ingame but was never successful in getting rid of fighters (they never tagged on), so is this down to which specific fighter/planes the CV uses or what? And can you then tell ingame if its worth sending youre ASW into fighters or not? The visual indication that Def AA is active is that red tracers or how do you see that? Can you do a video like this on Essex as well?

When i faced Kaga in ranked last season (playing Yorktown) I never had any problems. I just intercepted the first squadron and then CV striked, usually 3 strikes are enough to kill Kaga, takes full damage from everything. Rockets 17k+, bombs 15-20k (+fires) and then 2 torp drops (with the same flight) to finish the job. Cant strike me back because I have smoke, works half the time all the time 😅

Kaga is one of the most reliable, if you can hit all the torps then you make people hurt Also a great money maker

I like the torpedo speed upgrade. It's a trade-off, but the other upgrades in the same slot don't do much on a lot of carriers. Extra attack time is only useful imo when you can turn during attack runs.

So far played the T8 and for the most part enjoyed the car. Fast hit and run cars with good torps and decent guns. If the enemy pushes into you they are in a world of pain. If they run you gain map control and can still be farmed with decent DPM and fire chance. Concealment is ok, only problem are CVs. But thats a given for DDs and might change with the spotting rework.

yo Rei, i know this has probably come across your mind before, and It's probably not effective, but I just now realized that the Saipan can get insanely low detection range with hidden menace and conceal expert... what's your opinion on this? Have you tried it? could be fun but I feel like the new carriers with smokes can effectively do the same

Pan American cruisers heal 80% of citadel dmg. RN light cruisers can heal 50% citadel dmg, regular cruisers 30 or 33%. BBs 10%

Great vivid game play! As you correctly mentioned will the new "CV - rework" have deep influence and impact on the decision to continue with WoW or not. Personally, I'm not going to throw all my investments and efforts under the bus of "rework". Then it will be "Game Over".
