Alberta upland game bird season opens sep 1st and I'm just itching for some fried chicken legs and BBQ brests

I ate my first bass last week and it was excellent; no bones, nice clean worm free fillets. Can't go wrong! It's actually better for the fish to just eat it. Lots of times the fish is worse off after you release it.
