Disneyland Video History (1998) Disney's Animal Kingdom
After a very long wait, The Animal Kingdom is finally here! I will say I probably know the least about this park. So there won't be as many fun facts as in the past.

Disneyland has a two new parades, one that flops and one that celebrates the opening of a movie. We're in the weird middle years between iconic Disneyland additions and Disneyland failures. It is the "Disney Decade" after all.

Not a lot happened on the west coast for Disney in 1996 with Walt Disney World celebrating its 25th but Disneyland did say goodbye to one of the park's icons. Or did they?

Oh how I've missed you my friends! I'm back with what I think is the longest video yet. This one is feature length and is headlined with two things: Disneyland's 40th Anniversary and the opening of Indiana Jones Adventure. Producer Note: The reason I've been gone for so long is I returned to work last May and have had a very busy last 8 months. I also transferred at work and now I'm good friend...

Disneyland in California is opened today but that doesn't mean you don't have to forget what it was like 30 years ago. Back when the Disney Afternoon was a hit and a show called "Imagination" became Fantasmic. Note: With both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure opened, that means I'm going back to work and that means less time to spend making these videos. Rest assure that I will continu...

We made it to the 90s, boys and girls and what's more 90s than the Fresh Prince, Ninja Turtles and Disneyland's 35th Anniversary. This one had some returning favorites like Regis and Harry Anderson and some new, like Ronald Reagan. THE DISNEY DECADE HAS BEGUN!!!

Disneyland Video History (2001) Disney's California Adventure - Part 3

Here it is! The Final Disney California Adventure Video. Making DCA the longest video with all three coming in over 3 hours. I talk more at the end but there's a lot here from the early days of DCA and names only early 2000s people will remember.

Here comes part 2 of 3! Mostly focused on Opening Week(s) of Disney's California Adventure and the Disneyland Resort. I don't talk nearly as much in this video as the last one. This is a more traditional Disneyland Video History but there's still a lot of stuff to learn in this video. Like did you know what was in Downtown Disney on Opening Day? Not what you'll find there today.

In celebration of Disney or Disney's California Adventure's 20th, I thought I'd do something a bit different. I actually talk and while the usual clips and fun facts are in this and the two follow ups, I do a documentary style look into how Disney came up with the idea of the sister park to Walt's original. This is part 1 of 3. Part One is Concept to Construction, Part Two will be Opening Day t...

Damn we use to stay at the Tropicana Inn in the 2000s and we always made sure to go to the Tony Romas. First time I've ever had beef ribs
That first song for the press opening goes super hard lol. I was 8 when this park first opened. So many good memories of getting to go to Disneyland Resort growing up till 2014 when we stopped going to Cali as a family. Going to Rainforest Cafe was really a treat. We always arrived on a Friday and dined at downtown, then went park hopping on Saturday and Sunday. Good times
Happy to just be finding these but omg I will always love golden state and will never forget what they have done to that beautiful land.
I miss The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at DCA. 😢
Any updates on your next video?
Just when you think the Electrical Parade is gone it keeps coming back. In fact it will be back soon because someone onnthe crusie ship told me and a whole theater of people last year.
i wonder what is the miuc playing when drew iselporing afiiav
cool
Do you still work at DCA circa 2024?
Are there any camels in Disneyland?
Its awesome that Tokyo has their own Mickey Mouse Club.
I would like to see a RETRODISNEYLAND park where folks can ride recreations of the first generations of Disneyland..i would go
33:03 whomever threw that bomber jacket at him had a vendetta LOL
At 14:13 you've reminded me of being a small kid and looking through the iron fence at the Haunted Mansion - built but not yet open for business. I remember thinking the house itself didn't look too scary, but I was very excited for what might be inside. It felt like FOREVER before we could go in it.
I miss the original California Adventure..... I do love DCA 2.0 as well too tho lol. Miss the orignial California Screamin' the most!
gotta turn the music down at some points, hard to hear u when the music gets too loud , otherwise loved it
Good old days when we celebrated America and now it’s becomes a swamp of woken rainbows..
20 yrs ago. 2 park pass was $60-65
I was one of those lucky folks that was there on opening day and went many times over the summer in 2001. When I first went to Disneyland in 1998 they hadn't yet broken ground and the bus we went on came all the way up to the ticket booths. Both parks have had some amazing transformations over the years but DCA has had the most impressive changes.
Meet the World was not a rotating theater, the stage rotated and the audience around it stayed put. Also, it did not become a cirrcarma film, it’s an animatronics show most similar to the American Adventure. Japan 200 was the early name for what became “The Eternal Sea” but the Japanese were not fans since the sea was so close to them and it closed in less than a year and a half and was replaced by Magic Journeys.
When Toontown was new, it was pretty cool. It opened when I was about eight years old, I remember Goofy's Bounce House, Chip & Dale's Acorn Crawl, And running through Mickey's House and Minnie's House. Never Rode the Jolley Trolley. All of the gag stuff you could interact with, and the photo opportunities were actually really neat, and well designed. I specifically remember the cake in the oven effect inside of Minnie's Kitchen, How the cake rose immediately and magically inflated in the oven. I remember waiting like 2 hours to ride Roger Rabbit, and I ate a Mickey Pretzel while riding Gadget's Go Coaster.
They try with Disney America but certain stuff with slavery and stuff they wanted to do. No matter innocent they were trying to make it was not cool..
#DisneyDiva Can we go back n time ❤
Thomas is not listening lol my last name is Thomas lol
For the movie IF I wonder is any fast food places doing toys for that but I doubt they don't make toys r commercials like they use 2. Smh. Stuff is not the same. Or idk.

i didnt like DCA prior to radiator springs.
2012 was peak DCA, radiator springs and buena vista street just opened, and the park was still California but also improving with immersive high quality attractions.
Man to go back to 1995 Disneyland. That was peak Disneyland for me.
makes me sad
I liked the VHS clipped style transitions. just how i used to do it back in the day😜Really enjoy all these history videos. Appreciate all the hard work. Gold in every episode 🤙
Now Disneyland is a shopping 🛒🛍️ mall and everyone just stares at their 🤳. It's sad 😭 😢💔 =💸🤑
I miss these old times. New Disney sucks.
Disney used zip a de do da in so many marketing videos and now they bury it like it never existed.
THIS IS HOW WE NEED TO SEE DISNEY AS AGAIN!! TO THE NON WOKE SIDE VERSION!!
This is so cool
The berm problem is still my biggest problem with DCA....
Agreed, its jarring to see the Convention Center and power cables from Paradise Bay. Bad show when compared to Disneyland
why doesn't this have more views?! this was an interesting watch, thank you!
Pro tip: use Google Earth Studios for more clear animation
The condor flats sign is Demolish.
Tomorrowland desperately needs the Peoplemover back. The land is so dead. They shouldn't have removed the Skyway.
