I attempted to test out the one person Tarptent Dipole DW and this storm caught me a bit by surprise. The winds were a lot stronger than expected at that time of day. We got a decent storm and I was finally able to come out and play. I brought out the Tarp 5 and boy am, I pleased with it. I was able to cook my steak and relax in the rain while staying dry.

I took out this little tent to see how it performs in nutty stormy weather. There were a few hiccups but all and all, it did well... Enjoy!

Could this be one of the most beautiful camping spots in England? It certainly was mine. This location is near where Alfred Wainwright had his ashes scattered and I can understand why. The views are nothing less than spectacular. I also lucked out on the weather.

In this short overnight adventure, I head out to Dardanelles Lake , located in the Sierra Nevada and camp under the bright full moon. This is a great spot for a quick overnight camping trip.
