It's horrible that ONE PLAY will keep someone from immortality. This may be true for Roger Craig as well, who fumbled late in the 1990 NFC championship game and kept the 49ers from a 3-peat. Jerome Bettis would still be hoping for the Hall of Fame if Big Ben didn't make that ankle tackle. I can't think of any others who are not in the Hall of Fame because of ONE PLAY. Only one more heartbreaking then this was the scott norwood one obviously because that was 8 seconds left in the superbowl. But man norwood was still 50 yards out and the guy lined the ball up wrong. This shit here was a slam dunk and he completely choked

A missed field goal to tie or win at the end of a game is one thing, but how can you blame a kicker for missing when you’re up 7? They failed to stop a touchdown, failed to do anything in regulation after, got the ball back in overtime first and screwed that up yet Minnesota still blames Anderson. It takes a team to lose like that
