As a former postal worker, I would have conversations like this nearly EVERY DAY. Funnily enough, Grampa's stories are actually more interesting, because the elderly generally just want to go into detailed length about their current ailments. Yes sir, please, go on about the red splotch you discovered on your shoulder this morning.
HAHAHQHA. The thing is - I want to annoy young people like this when I'm older. Which makes me think they could be doing it on purpose just to waste your time 😂😂😂
I love how Abe is rambling about how things were in HIS days to Mr Burns. When Burns is several decades older than him! Burns be like, dude I know this, I'm older than you!🤣
I love how a story of how he went out to see J.D. Rockefeller riding a zeppelin just piovted to Thanksgiving. Best part is how it started at the house and continued in the mall.
0:56 I used to work as a cashier in a supermarket, so... I know exactly how it makes workers feel when they have to deal with slow motion old crinkle sacks going off the rails with their endless and pointless conversation and also when they are paying for the entire shopping bag full of products with small coins... xD Since then I am a convinced supporter of euthanasia... 😂
The Hellfish episode really messes with the established backstory. If Burns is over 100 years old in the 90s, he would have been in his 50s during World War 2.
@@kisbie Not counting partisans and the Volksturm, one of the oldest persons to serve in the second World War was Admiral Sir Walter Cowan, who was 72 at the Battle of Bir Hakeim, so Burns being in his 50s isn't that farfetched. Very uncommon for him to be selected for the Hellfish, but still.
If Abe Simpson was on the Terlit for three years while he was inventing it;he probably had severe diarrhea all because he didn't have an onion on the his belt;which was of course the style at the time and largely due to the fact that the Kaiser had stolen 20 and Abe and the rest of the world were forced to say Dickety.

The video right before this one was Grandpa's union busting ways, which was the video that started this video. Even in video suggestions, Grandpa Simpson is senile.
There’re stories, then there’re still stories, they go absolutely nowhere, the precise same feeling when the air seems to stand still and everything stops at once, along with the subtle yet immense feeling of dread that pairs with it.
This old man is a nice little parody of the classic old man. Maybe people like him should write blogs or record videos of themselves and post them onto something like CZcams.

I'm taking notes I need my ramblings when I'm in my 80s to sound at least this boring and insane.

What is the second walking-bird trimming? Injun eyes?!

Grandpa Simpson is that one guy you wanna go drinking with, his stories will always keep you amused with confusion 😂🤣
"'A', he'd say... then 'B'. 'C' would usually follow."
Amazing video. Thanks for putting it together.
I guess he won the argument, but i walked away with the turnips...
To his credit, dickity six miles is an entire marathon of Kaiser pursuit, even a walking bird couldn’t pull that off.
I know this was only 4 minutes but it felt like 10
the best way to do a good Grandpa story is to focus on the least important details.
"What are you cackling at Fatty?" 😂
Am I the only one who’s actually interested in Grandpa Simpson’s wacky tales and wants a fully story on them all?
2:10 When grandpa met the Fonz.
