2004 V8 swapped Ranger Dyno Pull

Just a quick dyno pull of my 2004 Ford ranger with a 5.0 V8 from a 1998 Ford Explorer. Pull is just on 89 pump gas done at SCNS Motors in Sarasota Florida. E303 cam, rockers, throttle body, intake, OBX headers with Flowmaster 40s. Put down 230hp and 270ft lb at the wheels. Needs a proper tune and gas to get a little more out of it.

A short walk around, idle and rev of my 2004 5.0 V8 swapped Ford Ranger. The truck has a 5.0 V8 out of a Ford Explorer. Has an e303 cam, adjustable 1.7 rockers along with a larger throttle body and a tune. Exhaust is OBX headers, back to dual flow master 40's and dumped over the rear axle. I wonder how buddy got the stock gauges to play nice with the swap. The faux carbon fiber bezel can also be sourced in later Mazda B-Series trucks.

Currently still in pieces. Will get a new engine eventually. Have had a lot of life changes, but it won’t be leaving the family anytime soon.

Stock is crank HP. This is WHP. Engine is also very used and tired, as shown in a later video.

Did you ever put that truck back together and question about your OBX headers do they leak and did the walls crack or anyting heard mixed reviews on them how long have you had them
Truck is still in pieces. Didn’t have any issues with my OBX headers and plan on putting them back on with the new motor.

Sadly not. Had a bunch of things come up and the truck still sits in pieces.

My biggest question is do all of the gauges work? That would be my biggest pet peeve of a build of someone doesn’t get all of the gauges working like stock which I love! Thanks for the response! Nice truck!
