Formed in 2003, The Killer Queen Experience has risen from a Local Brisbane based Queen Cover Band to an International Touring Act and is Australia’s most sought-after Tribute Show today.
Persistence has paid off for Lead Singer John Blunt, original member and Freddie Mercury Impersonator for over 15 years, cementing John as the most recognised Freddie around the globe.
Originally known as “The King and Queen Show” (a tribute to Elvis & Queen), John found his talents entertaining guests at Warner Bros Movie World imitating characters such as Roy Orbison, Austin Powers, Elvis Presley and Freddie. Forgetting his costume fronting a Cover Band for a Halloween gig, John somehow accidentally dressed as Freddie and the rest is history!
Move forward a decade and John was chosen by ITV Channel 5 UK for the Docu/Drama “The Freddie Mercury Story - Who Wants to Live Forever” a detailed look into the personal life and death (45 years old in 1991) of Queens Front man, screening in the UK, Europe and

Saw them just last Friday night and they blew my socks off.... the next best thing to seeing Queen with Freddie is seeing Queen with Freddie (or John is it Butte???) anyway, do yourselves a favour and go see Killer Queen, I intend to when another chance comes up!!

This is false advertising! Not Australia’s LONGEST running Queen show. And not Australia’s ONLY international touring Queen show. Plus you used Thomas Cranes interview with Dani Minogue on Australia’s got talent for one of your clips. John Blunt can’t sing. Too much vibrato. Changes key about 20 times a song and can’t hit the high notes. And he is an alcoholic who abuses people after having his kids bring him alcohol on live podcast chats. Thinks it’s funny to degrade women and swear at them. My comment will be deleted and I’ll be blocked for having an opinion. John always deletes others opinions if they aren’t kissing his butt.
But, John is the best in every way feasibly possible. There is simply no one to touch him...!

It's not fair that Rami Malek took the damn award. The documentary movie about Freddie Mercury had given much more about what people really wanted to know about Freddie, than just the iconic musician we already know.

I was at the new years eve gold coast performance and the speakers were bass boosted so much that it sounded good from far away (as in 400m away from the stage) which sucked. I do hope that next time i see them that the speakers aren't bass boosted.
