My hype went straight to nothing after learning the seasonal wipes are going to force people to start over and regrind everything. The game will die, and they'll change their model to try to stay alive. Give it another year.

Well the reason I would say wipes would be good would be because of pvp. If everyone is on the same playing field pvp is actually fun but if everyone is not then you have a situation like GTA V in that it would be impossible to challenge these higher leveled players/ more equipped ones because you get killed instantly or there is no chance at beating them and with world events that are based around pvp I can understand the wipe so it gives everyone a chance to enjoy all the content to the fullest and not just partly. Plus even for me it would be fun to restart every 6 weeks anyway so I can go back and refine the way I play to get farther than before. Plus it isn't a full reset by what you said and you keep a decent amount of your things, it sounds like only the physical items on you and the world get wiped and that is fine by me.

PvP servers are a joke! You will not get killed on pvp servers!

finished playing it in 4 hours it's more fucking disappointment so i quit until map get bigger at least twice the size

This game would be great if it was designed to be played as offline singleplayer, no wipes, and minus the numerous bugs.

Totally agree with you about wipes.

I played the beta last month i soloed everything isn't hard at all and i loved it a lot doing solo i wasn't bothered at all with other players around as i thought it would be but yes the deal breaker for me as well will be the wipe for seasonal content witch in my opinion as wel is a short age on real game play to keep people interested in endgame

first metior drop i found had a seline in it (its the pal from the new boss *tower boss*)

The answer is no, the features are bugged, the servers are bugged. PVP is uninviting. Multiplayer is cursed, NA official servers are non existant. Community servers are no more, the new content is grindy for no reason. There is no fun to be had in the early game as it hasn't changed at all. PVE is dumb and the AI doesn't attack when it should attack. The game is becoming way more singleplayer as it invited you hoarding as it's impossible to lose anything. Endgame is a very hard task starting from scratch especially when the official servers reset every 6 days. The fighting is unfun, the catching gets stale, the base building is still limited. This update has nothing I wanted, and the player count seems to show it.
