Orbital exocraft materializer (OEM), do i need to build the exocraft in every system i visit Or just build it once and i can summon it via the OEM from any system no matter how far as long as my frieghter is in the same system as me? Or am i missing somthing?

On my first playthrough I bought a squid ship from a pilot who landed at a trade depot. On my second (VR) playthrough I never once saw one in the wild but I would occasionally see them being flown by human pilots landing in the space anomaly. I've never once, even in the Space Anomaly, seen another sentinel ship like the one I found. It's a wingless ship shaped like a bug. I also built a homebrew "Horizon Omega" by buying individual ships, scrapping them for the parts I wanted and eventually combining it all together into one ship. Lastly, there is a 4th faction. One that isn't Korvax, Gek or Vy'keen and a fun discovery for late-game.

Loot ALL Weapons and Armor. Sell at Goodneighbor (2 vendors, 700 caps) and Diamond City (5 vendors, 1600 caps). I use the Stash Trunk mod, so I have access at both locations for selling. Trashcan Carla also buys. Don't know if Stash Trunk is available for console players. I have over 3400 hours in-game. never knew about the VAT not Hacking tips. Thanks

Regarding Grenades, for exploding on impact this is what Baseball Grenades are there for. Combined with Demolition Expert Rank 2 you can throw grenades very precisely over a long distance. Easy to take out big enemies of armored turrets with Baseball Grenades.

You can 100% here the UFO Crash... It triggered for me when I levelled up while at Sanctuary Hills - At least on my current (New) Playthrough... Cait even commented on it! Prost Bar also becomes a hidden but required visit with a couple of quests... Namely "The Paper Mirror"... Good video none the less as many may still miss these if they dont do side quests.

What’s the point of a base really? I’m the kind of on the constant move player and I know the freighter is like that but I know there’s those items that need to be farmed using technology and there’s the exocrafts

I have a bizarre relationship with Fallout 4 and that is I first started playing it on my PS4 through the PS Now subscription service, which is now part of PS Plus Extra/Premium. I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the GOTY Edition on disk but when I tried to play that it installed as a totally separate game and I couldn't use my save games with it. I did discover that I could still use the PS Now version with the addons that came with the disk version so I deleted the base disk game but kept the addons because I couldn't be bothered to start all over again. The main problem I have now is that I've let my PS Plus subsciption run out for two weeks so that I can move the payment date, which means I can't even install the update!

Armor mod works on are not specific to the armor variant (like sturdy or heavy). So if you have a regular metal chestpiece with the polished mod, you can take that mod and put it on a heavy metal chestpiece without the need of the armorer perk.

Freighter is the capital ship. Frigate is the smaller ones you hire to company the freighter.

Dog Meat wasn't actually designed as a companion like the others. The initial idea was that you could bring Dog Meat AND a companion of your choice, but it must have seemed like too much and they disabled it. That's why their presence does not disable the walking alone perk. There is also a mod that allows you to activate this and play as designed, with the dog as well as another companion.

My major mistake early on in the game is that I don't know what the hell I'm doing most of the time.

First one for free is not true at least anymore, I got a regular freighter for free then two warps later encountered the pirates and decided to swap my old freighter for the new one and didnt pay a single unit. Everything transferred over and so by doing this its possible to get an S class eventually without save scumming to death at least all at once.

yes no man's sky is a good game, but you CAN'T BUILD AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. Yes my stats are , out of a trillion planets you can only build on one , you can't build anymore. they have a CAP ON IT BUILDING. I REALLY WISH THEY CHANGED THAT THEN IT WILL BE A GOOD BUILDING GAME....

Being a complete noob, I have to ask: How do you see the class of the freighter without getting out of your ship to scan it, which replaces your restore point?

Preston's a really nice guy if you install the "Lowered Minutemen Expectations" and "Enough About the Settlements Already Preston" mods. Both are available at Nexus mods. I very rarely get the radiant mishs from him with these two mods. Very rarely, indeed. Fallout 3 taught me that the PC versions of Bethesda software are the only really playable versions because you need the console commands to get through the bugs.

On my second day playing, I ran across one of the exotic squid ships in a space station... Of course, I was nowhere near able to afford it. Damn.

Don't know if this is common knowledge but when you're in settlement building mode if you hold "E" when you're rotating objects with left and right mouse buttons they spin a lot slower making it easier to be make precise placements.

I see where everyone comes from that like NMS LNF could be as huge as the ocean but deep as a puddle, but way I see this is they have had 5+years to refine their tech and ideas, going from 18 quintillion planets to 1 allows alot more dense and depth to the world as well as they have altered how they use their progen formula to work with their own hand crafted pieces.... And most importantly. Going from a sci-fi setting to a fantasy world allows them to tap into a more D&D, elder scrolls, Witcher, etc etc type of content..... But this is just my opinions and thoughts but we'll see a new trailer in August along with the release date, so see you then

Don’t use the main settlement character a the supply line guy. If you need to see them they could be anywhere on the main running supplies and if you fast travel to see them by the time you’ve got there they’ve moved to another location. Use a new settlement recruit to be the supply runner. Also ammo is weightless, just carry all your ammo

I really want multiplayer freighter meetups, with a Helldivers above-planet idea in mind.
