Agassi is 5-3 against Krick!
Back in the 90s 27 was considered old, and Novak is 37 and still playing high level tennis, gee! I wonder if modern tennis players are juicing up to be able to play tennis at such a high level? Just listen to how surprised the announcers talk back then about 27 being old in tennis! It’s ridiculous to think 27 is old for a tennis player to compete, when in today’s game there are players in their mid 30s playing tennis!
Krick was an amazing talented player and Fred was hating on Krick the entire match. Fred was one of the worst tennis commentators ever in the history of the game of tennis!
Gee! That bald head fool is complaining about Krick breathing!
Vintage becker
Paz, best known as a doubles player, was also a handy crafty court player and had beaten defending champion Arantxa Sanchez Vicario in round 2. Arantxa had been having a very up and down first half of 1990 and had also lost 6-1, 6-1 to Jenifer Capriati at Hilton Head in April.
Thank allah that this primitive, overly-serve reliant style of play was forced into extinction by the very next generation who completely eclipsed all the meaningful records several times over and erased Sampras from any GOAT discussions with grrat haste.
I watch all matches 1991-1998..And i play in my tennis club PECINE..in my club Ljubicic play in 1994
dopé agassi rend l'argent salop !!! 🤮😎. \
You could see it on steffi ‘ s eyes that the love and flame of victory was gone. I respect that. Steffi left the game graciously unlike the Williams sisters. One is still making a fool of herself!
Terrible commentary. Neither commentator could play 5 sets. They can't appreciate Rios hit or miss style.
Grande Guillermo Coria!!!!! frente a rivales con una mayor constitución física como Agassi , te impusiste con un juego talentoso e inteligente. Lástima que te retiraste antes de los 30, pero tu magia siempre será recordada.
McEnroe was the epitome of "If you don't believe in yourself, no one else will."
How many matches that if Agassi wins a set it’s the third set but Pete wins the fourth. When it’s Sampras all the way it’s tie breaks for 3 sets or he wins by one service break against Agassi .Sampras knew he could beat Agassi if he met him in a slam final except at the AO. Sampras had a thing for not losing to Andre. In the same that Navratilova felt she should never lose to Everton grass the way evert felt she shouldn’t lose to Martina if she played near her best on clay.
Pete could call up a second serve down the T in ad. Court with consistency. , his serve was the best.
Hard to believe this match was 25 years ago, life sure is short.
It’s similar to Navratilova vs evert. One knew the serve and volleyer should win on grass especially at Wimbledon where the grass then played fast and bounce was low ( today the grass plays slower and ball bounces slightly higher) but it wasn’t a good bet to bet against Agassiand Evert because if they had a great day they had best return of serve , best passing shots, and above all played from pride until the last point.
I was at this match. I saw ferrero hit a tweener winner that same day
Wondering if you have any of the ROUND ROBIN Agassi matches or even the FINAL against EDBERG? Thanks so much for uploading this
Hi, I only have the Agassi-Edberg final and the semi, as that what was broadcast on U.S. network TV back in 1990. Unfortunately, the Edberg Agassi final match was blocked on CZcams the the ATP :(
Andre - Coolest Player ever ❤
Agassi did not play well
A poor performance from Sukova here - given that she'd given Navratilova some of her most painful losses, effectively ending her singles career at both the Australian Open and the US Open (winning their 1989 Australian Open quarter final and their 1993 US Open fourth round). It would have been very painful for Navratilova if Sukova had also effectively ended her Wimbledon singles career too.

ok this is really something
The UGH sisters
1:30:00 Gilbert is talking about becoming Roddick's coach
Goran served 25 aces in first set. It was insane. He just imploded mentally after 2 sets down. Such a shame. Gorans serve is the best serve in history of tennis. It was pure magic.
Prime Jean shorts Agassi vs. preprime Federer would be closer
1999 Sampras at Wimbledon is probably the greatest player ever.
Becker had so many chances to win it in 3 sets. At the Australian Open 1996 Agassi wanted to lose against Chang to avoid playing against Becker again.
bruguera played well in the 1994 ATP finals because the surface played slightly slower than normal, he had becker in all sorts of trouble in their semi final.
Gilbert with 5 to 2 odds on AA . Haha, funny cause he's serious but those odds suck. I'm predicting AA wins, and i haven't seen this before
Le gauche de Leconte inouïe et le service de Becker Boum boum puissance folle 👍👍👍. Dany 53 ans

НЕПОВТОРИМ ГОРАН!!!❤
What I love Andre the most is his temper during the game! He is very calm and professional unlikely others who make ugly scenes!😂I can tell Andre played with all his heart and desire to win! For Physical endurance maybe Andre beat his opponent!
Agassi dated Brook Shields? And now he is with Graff. I can't understand that
Meaning what?
@@dbreiden83080 Shields was super beautiful and Graff looked like the witch from fairytales
@@user-zv8tp7tr6q Uh okay. Graf was considered one of the beauties of the tennis world back in her day.. But beyond looks they obviously had a lot more in common with each other..
So it was 2 semifinals with Andre and his future 2 coaches 🔥
And McEnroe mentored Agassi at Wimbledon 1992 about how to play on the old, low bouncing grass. So that's almost like 3 coaches.
@@VoltagePurple incredible
It was great game to watch. Meligeni, as always, leaving it all on the court... But it was impossible to beat Agassi, he was far superior
Awesome win, Andre. Have watched you from the beginning of your career for many years and still do, on TV and in person. Loved your book too!!
Ahhh, yes. I remember setting my alarm for 4:00 am to watch this classic on CNBC. NBC kicked it back to a sister network for obvious reasons since it was a Monday final.
Goran once said that even years after this match, he would sometimes see it replaying on TV monitors at Wimbledon and he could not stop himself from watching and thinking, maybe i win….
Nalbandian's backhand is clearly the prettiest twohander out there.

Love how Mary Carillo pronounced Guillaume Raoux...
