Just, I got this video more useful to traditional agriculture based economy countries like Ethiopia and I would like to thank dick for his special type of plowshare sharpening equipment. The question is I am interested to do my thesis on this machine with some modifications held like robotic belts . I've been looking for a video like this. Great job of explaining.-----There is a cemetery where my wifes family is buried. There is a father and son buried with anvils as headstones each. The father did all kinds of blacksmithing but the son did nothing but sharpening shares.
Great demonstration. And a real nice job of post production. I had better dig out my Ford 2 bottom plow shares and get them to Dick.
Dick is a great and talented guy. I learned from a Mr. Bennet to weld more steel on the back of the blades building it with the arc welder, then forge out the edges. I haven't done any since I moved to Arkansas 26 years ago. I was surprised Dick's share didn't look like a cowboy hat with my birth date one one edge:<)

Love it - you capture the audience! I did a similar thing, about 35 years ago - when we had OHPs not powerpoint...I banged my fist down on the glass top - ended up at the local Infirmary and with 8 stitches!
I would love to see the cave-painting version of that, Phil Simpkin!
