Translation pleaseee
Whenever I see the name "Octopath Traveller" I think of the game Octodad
When your entire tank division is nearly dead to a baneblade, but you have a buggy full of munitions:
Aaaaa I DID IT LETS GOOOO
Such an amazing fight and OST, took me a long time to beat. I thought this was tough, but then I discovered OT 2 Galdera 😭
"I just wanted a family. I just wanted to be with 9S"
it sounds so french
i live in france and my opnion is that you are still right
@@jonathangerrits7697 je suis français aussi
oh c'est amusant. but please talk english because else some people wont understand us. I also have a house in the netherlands by the way. leuke opmerking trouwens.

This completely blew me away. I haven't actually played the first Octopath, but just completed the 2nd yesterday (and Galdera) and I wanted to compare the music. Insane how good this track is. The opera completely nails it.
Jefe maldito ajajjajs nunca le pude ganar 😢😢😢😢 cuando tenga tiempo volveré iniciar una partida desde 0 ya que aunque complete todas las misiones secundarias, no quede conforme con el final de una 😢😢😢😢
PLAGUE MOVEN
se parece a la de terraria zzzzzzz
Grinding was so worth it to experience this final fight and the amazing music.
Just imagine if they had a good lead singer
What
@@Dethraxx I love classical and operatic singing, and this soprano is awful
1:34 _Souls that once lay dormant_ _Writhing ever faster_ _Seek to spread the torment_ _Of their watchful master_
1:49 _He of steel and fire,_ _Gods denied his rapture,_ _World shall know his ire,_ _Power he shall capture._
Imagine that the "fans" of strategy pc games were the bad guys after all.
God I heard this song and have it on repeat like all the time then I went to look into the lyrics and here's what I got. The song is sung by a grandmother to her granddaughter, who is about to leave home. The grandmother is telling her granddaughter to be strong and brave, and to remember that she will always be there for her. Here is a translation of the lyrics: Cyaré vou pali tandu briavé: Grandma, I'm going to leave soon. Flané imundra lonom: The world is a cruel place. Sovfla monusi ohna kanéro: But there are still good people in it. Issa séttu flanésho: So hold on to your hope. Luri si nasiel viré: My dear granddaughter, Luri ansettali'té: don't be afraid. Luri jhi paras avlu: I will always be here for you. Luri andrala cetru: I will always love you. The song is a beautiful and moving expression of love and support. It is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.
I know not of this game, except that it was in a RubixRaptor video
Go play it
Tressa as a Rune Knight must be one of the most satisfying characters I've played in a JRPG, I miss her
Bro me too!
i fully agree, Tressa was the best especially as a rune knight
THIS... this is a song befitting a final boss...
0:00 through 0:07 sounds like Destati from Kingdom Hearts…
I think my favorite part of this fight is that it breaks JRPG archetype of benched characters never getting screen time. Even games that try to mitigate this like Persona where benched characters still get EXP so they never fall behind and you can swap them in at any time if you need it still feels like you're only ever at half strength. What's the point of having 8 playable characters when only 4 are ever on screen at the same time? But in Octopath, it feels like a FULL, 100% team effort. One half of the team is fighting the battle downstairs, which is equally just as important as the one being fought upstairs. All 8 are fighting together, and instead being *told*, you *see* it in an actual fight you control, not just a cutscene. And God help you if you neglected any of your party members, and God is dead except the one you're fighting so you're SOL.
The sequel takes another step further for the final phase and starts playing like the mobile game
@@Antasma1 Having 8 characters fixes so many issues with the battle system. I don't know why they don't just make it the default.
Also Miitopia doing this thing and i love it
This banger is the only reason i had the resolve to beat this fight straight from hell
I finally beat Galdera bros😭 Shout out to my sorcerer Ophelia and warmaster Olberic!
I haven't defeated galdera, I still kept coming back cause the music is 🔥
Beating every path: Bah I got over leveled nobody can beat me... Reaching galdera: HOLY SHIT HE FUCKING CRUSHED ME
That's what makes a good super boss.
@@wilsongutierrez-estela9797 Kinda annoying you have to do 8 easy bosses before him, every time you fail.
@@namls9249 I agree that does get very repetitive quickly.
The transition in between song feels like an awakening of a god
It is
Can you do one with the final boss theme from Octopath Traveler 2 eventually?
really like this part 2:05 - 2:15 the transition for 2nd round
Square Enix “We’re glad you’ve beat Galdera in the 1st game and it must have been a tough battle. Wanna beat a Buffed and Broken (optional) Galdera a second time since Vide you thought was Easy? (PTSD Gets triggered again)
You will never know true terror until you hear this followed by “A soul of the dead emerged from Galdera”
And you'll know even truer terror when you see, "The Sorcerous Energies Within The Wailing Soul Are About to Burst!" going into the fight completely blind.
Here after Bestower of Fame chapter 3
Thank you for this amazing edit, just awesome ❤
Could do without the lyrics but not bad. Not a fan of lyrics in my game music unless it's very subtle.
Awful take. This song is god tier. You probably somehow hate Persona music because Persona loves it's vocals
@@ash8244 it depends. It needs to be subtle. One Winged Angel is an example of vocals done right. The final boss fight of Trails in the sky SC is another. The music in the Shantae games is an example of it being done very, very wrong. That song that plays during the first stage of Half Genie Hero is about as cringe as it gets.
any translation of the lyrics?
UPDATE FINALLY BEAT IT Had the most perfect RnG order. Didnt even trigger the passive damage Galdera gives with the heat in phase 1. Even had an extra 2 turns to do damage in phase 2.
damn, lobsterman9999 has good music taste. this shit slaps
💯
Gosh it was such a rush when I beat this boss back in 2018. Took me 5 hours cos I was unprepared. But I had conquered a God, and made sure he'd never return. NEVER RETURN
Where is Octopath Traveler 2 version its so much better.
Music of "does he/she have three BPs yet?"
TIL Olberic does insane damage when he needs to leave the fight asap and take a dump!
God... Galdera definitely reminds us why optional bosses are optional in the first place.
I mean, Galdera isnt very hard. Even in the second game you can literally kill him with your entire party at lvl 1 without subjobs. You can literally just spam winnehildes battlecry in the first phase to win, and same with aebers reckoning and sorcerer spells with aelfrics in the second one. Or switch, not like it matters.
@@alexanderwidmar2850 "isn't very hard" 🤓🤓
@@alexlun4464i beat him with suboptimal builds on my first try in both games, seems like you just need to git gud
No you can’t
@@alexanderwidmar2850 My brother in christ, you just said you can beat him at level 1, yet you talk about spamming abilities that require you to be at least level 20 to get all of the JP (Aeber's reckoning) while also mentioning one of the most difficult to get and max out ultimates of the game (Winnehilde's battle cry) for which you need to defeat arguable the second most difficult boss in the game and level all the job to max. Get real and make up your mind dude, either you get to this somehow at level 1 by avoiding the entire stock of one shots from all the previous bosses or you get the good abilities by (You Guessed It!) leveling up... I also used suboptimal builds to beat him cause the runelord Tressa cheese wasn't my style to beat my favorite game, but don't get over here and say "OH, it's easy, I'm just that good and you are noob" just to then give the worst and most contradicted arguments.
Galdera makes 8 consecutive end game bosses feel like a walk around the park.
After beating him after hundreds of attempts in OT1, I was glad I would never have to face him again Imagine my shock in OT2 when I go to a mysterious island and see that dreaded gate
@@hanzonoskillmercymainbtw8584 atleast in ot 2 you can pretty easily get all chars to really high levels
They must have been REAL proud of this boss fight considering…
It successfully traumatized countless RPG fans while also being so epic that you can’t help but keep wanting to go back I’d say they have every right to be proud of it
@@hanzonoskillmercymainbtw8584 Did you play through the sequel yet?
@@Antasma1 yes, and I beat both of them
@@hanzonoskillmercymainbtw8584 Even that one quest?
@@Antasma1 yes, and I have the title screen crown to prove it
Phase 1: spam Runelord Tressa procs alongside hunter second servings to slowly but surely whittle away at the boss Phase 2: Winnehild’s Battle Cry go brrrrrrr
