My friend has been saving up barrels of all types since act 1 in our current playthrough, as of yesterday the total count was 94 barrels; He has also been saving smokepowder bombs, fireflasks, wine, the runepowder bomb & vial, basically anything explosive & flammable. Poor Gortash will be nothing but a fine red mist by the time he is done, and our PCs will also join in on the explosion lmao

Lol this is what I do also. I collect these barrels and save them for special moments where I either want to finish it easier or finish a fight in 2 rounds or less.

I think they patched it. Yurgir and Raphael are now immune to fire.

The only downside I see is that you don't get to have Yurgir on your team. He's pretty bro tier for a Devil.

How do you get one of those brain things to be a summon for you?

I'm not there yet, but when you landed the hold monster, I've just expected great weapon master 2H character with haste and action surge wiping him alone in single round..

I usually come to him with everyone having a bunch of summons up, like everyone doing their natural summons (whoever can summon, Danse Macarbe, scratch, Druid stuff, Djinn/Cambion/Deva from rapier/Seele spell/level6 spell, Druid stuff, spiders, familiars, etc) and then everyone using scrolls of like elemental, minor elemental, fire orb and so on. I’ve done something like that for 2 of my 3 runs so far. Both times almost all my summons die instantly to Raphael doing his fireball type move. Hope gets one shot too sometimes. A really fun fight though! His ascended form looks so cool, I love that he has 3 faces. Really sells that devil look more than anything else.

Barrelmancy shouldn't exist in the game. It's too easy to cheese the game with it. Someone should make a mod that removes all barrels from the game.
