I have heard a lot of reports of issues with swiping from update to update, but I think if you re record a gesture with a more dominant swipe motion you should be good. Glad to know it’s saved you time!!!

This still works, I use it every day :) Auto spins still work!! It retains all functionality minus vibration after completing the mod.

I have it carefully placed on top of the speaker- and the plastic shell around the battery helps press it down and keep it in place. You can use superglue / hot glue- personally I’m not a huge fan but that would 100% help with keeping the switch held in place

@@decodinglife 2 accounts on 1 device is Samsung exclusive- if you have both the Google Play and Samsung store on your android you can download pokemon go from both app stores. Playing multiple accounts is against TOS, but the other account used in this video is my brothers account and he was in the room next to me while filming and I had his permission to use his account for demo purposes. Playing multiple accounts is against TOS- but I don’t ever play on his unless I am showing something off for a video.

@@RespireUnlimited you can use greats and ultra balls, but you have to click the button whenever you want to catch, unless you preform the mod. Hopefully we get a Go Plus Pro some day

Lol. That’s usually how it goes 🤣 I will say though- android uses a 3rd party app to do this to my understanding but iPhone can do it natively without downloading any apps which is nice

@@BreakthroughEmpowered there is a video from Pokedaxi called “how to auto trade in Pokemon go” - unfortunately I haven’t figured out if you can do something similar with accessibility settings on android, but it is possible from what I saw from his video!

@@elijahfarmer8674 It shouldn’t impact pairing to the phone, but if it’s going in and out of sleep, sleep mode prevents it from connecting. If you try and pair it with the device upside down (button facing down) it won’t go into sleep mode. Let me know if that works

@@Andrew-ps9zpyes- if you switch language I believe it will work. BUT this wasn’t knowledge to me at the time of upload- but the size of the phone matters. So I recorded for the “pro max” series iPhones. If you have a different size you’ll have to record your own :(

@@Necthar_ brilliant. Good to know!! I also mapped Voice Commands to the triple tap power button- didn’t know you could do that at the time- so you can triple tap and when the gesture completes its cycle it will turn off

@@longfrube472 no. I contacted niantic directly through support and did speak to an actual person and they assured me that using accessibility settings was completely fine and has no risk.

What iPhone are you using? It’s come to my understanding now that unfortunately the size of the device makes a big difference. The files are for a “Pro Max” iPhone. I’ll take a look at the link and see what’s going on

@@POGObiWann so basically it makes me change the files name to .xml to view after doing that you cannot open it in your settings but if you don’t change the name their is nothing on the file. Any tips?

@@M2Sk8rX I would honestly just record new gestures if you are using a different sized phone, just because some taps I recorded for the pro max show up off screen on the smaller devices. Not sure what’s going on with the download link- I was able to download and import from files

This is a great question that I have received a lot of feedback on, lol. I am super new to soldering- and you’re right. Should be using flux!! If I ever re-do this video, I will be sure to do so.

@POGObiWann yea it's nothing against you personally it's just EVERY mod video I see no one uses flux. For stuff this small, if you need to use a brush to apply it, use a small paintbrush so it doesn't get on parts you don't want.

@@douglasconnell8433 my first one that I ever modded, I completely broke my connector on the battery. It happens!! You can purchase a 2 pack of Batteries on Amazon- they are the same as the Nintendo switch joy con batteries

Great questions! This mod enables the Pokemon Go Plus + to automatically throw greats and ultras, without the click of a button. Without this, to use greats / ultras with the device, you would have to click the button. Unfortunately, it doesn’t automatically switch to greats / ultras, you have to manually select it in settings, where you would connect it in game. When you complete this mod, you will know it is working if it is exiting sleep mode and entering sleep mode. You would normally enter / exit sleep mode by pressing and holding the button when disconnected from Pokémon go, but this mod makes it so that the button is automatically pressed, resulting in the sleep mode looping process. If Pokemon storage is full, it will not catch. It will attempt to go for things but won’t catch until you transfer.

Great question! Greats and ultras do help with catch rate. I typically will have the go plus + use greats and ultras during com days / raid events as they do tend to bring in more catches. For me, I do lots of item runs via car, and end up stocking up on lots of Pokeballs which I toss most of the regular ones to make more room for greats and ultra’s. Since completing this mod, I find it hard using non-modded Go Plus+’s. It is so convenient to use the better pokeball options without the need to click the button. During NY Go Fest, I had ultra’s running all day, as my focus was primarily raiding Necrozma, so I wasn’t doing a ton of manual catching. My go Plus+ using Ultra Balls did catch a lot of pokemon / shinies while I was raiding and unable to hand catch. My one problem I encountered was I ran out of ultras after the first two days, lol. It is very efficient, and can run through balls fast, which I could see as a downside to some. But in my opinion, the convenience of being able to use the better options outweighs the negative of running through them quickly.

@knoxville363 LOVE IT!! Also- the folks in the comment section on my voice commands video told me there is a quicker way!! If you have a shadow kyogre- candela is a walk in the park for great league battles. I tried it and it is WAY faster than the candela battles!! Good luck with the mod!! Let me know how it goes!! @@POGObiWann Ok i fixed it my issue was that the two prongs on the switch were touching so i fixed it and now it works great guide the problem was on me

​@@POGObiWann I am now having the issue that when not connected to the app the switch works fine but when connected it only autocatches even when flipped to manual Could you estimate where the issue is located so i can fix it?
