I always loved and respected Mullen for his skating skill and creativity. But hearing him just talk and go over his craft in this group, dudes a legend sitting among legends no question.

I have to make a huge apology to chad and obviously Tony because I came up in New York City as a street Grom in the 80s and you can only imagine the things that came out of our mouth when talking about guys like Tony Hawk in the mid 80s. It just wasn’t our scene we didn’t have ramps and if we did, they always got burnt down by crackheads or rivals skate shops or whoever whenever with an agenda so my take on skateboarding was not vert, although I was dying inside because I couldn’t get to avert ramp or some pool to let me practice, that beautiful art of flying ! To me, the vert guys were men, and we were just wishing we could be men .. Anyway, I’m getting off the point that we deemed fake or bleached hair or Cali or whom ever we thought wasn’t hard way quickly marked them as not cool. Dude, I look back at this type of thinking now and I am both embarrassed, and I want to go back and kick the daylights out of myself .. I truly apologize, Tony and Chad because as rad as you guys were and it literally does not get better than Tony Hawk and Chad Muska (sorry couldn’t name every rad dude out there) But in their lies my apology for being such an elitist at that time straight edge hard-core Dickhead.. what I wouldn’t do to be able to come on this show and give a little perspective on a 15 year year-old in 1986 who ran a SKATESHOP . (I say that loosely.) 😂 But I did the orders and in my spare time fixed BMX bikes. I was one of the guys that had direct effect on how much money you made because I did the ordering and spoke directly with the ladies and gentlemen that ran the wholesale side of things. Anyway short story long I I label you guys as not cool enough for me and for that I humbly apologize. Hindsite is so clear it’s 20/20. You guys have done so much for the industry and that’s not even to add in what you have done for the Skateparks oh my God how could I forget about the Skateparks Tony?
