Life is an adventure. I’m originally from Maine. When I was just a little kid , I picked up an “Alaska Magazine “ and I was bit by the Alaska bug. When I was 38 I made my dream come true, but after 11 years it was time to move on. Spent a couple of years in Oregon,then almost 5 in California ( hated it). Now I’m in Tennessee and I love it here. I never, in a million years thought I’d ever live in any state besides Maine an Alaska. ( Montana was another choice). It’s funny where life leads us. A lot of people told me” I could never do that”. Yeah you can, you just have to have the courage to follow your heart.

So excited to see all the amazing things this brings for you mom😊

I'm glad you had such fun in my neck of the woods - unfortunately I was unable to make this Dig Stock. Congrats on the old ring and those 3 iron pieces are all plow points that would have attached to a large plow that would have been pulled by a tractor. It's a shame you couldn't get closer to that huge house because I imagine that would have been awesome.

Great area for some awesome finds! Had some great finds on the Jamestown river near Williamsburg has some cool areas in the woods you can find so many things!

The 'O' thing you found is part of a 'Twist-Lock Fastener'. Used mostly on boat tops to fasten soft tarps.

It looks like you’re in a great spot, Bethany. I love finding those buttons!

You stumbled right into a great pile of bottles! I have always loved finding the jar lids with the inserts. When I find enough of intact ones, I plan to make an art piece from them. Nice job, Bethany!
