This obsession with "Who's the greatest?" is absurd. Hakeem, Kareem, Shaq, Wilt, Bill Russell, David Robinson, George Mikan, etc...They were all great. Enjoy it and respect it and quit worrying about which one was "better" You will never determine that, because no one will ever agree on the criteria as to what constitutes how to determine who is "better"

I was at the 1986 tribute to him at Cambridge, MA city hall when they made him an honorary citizen of that city. He couldn’t have been more HUMBLE and KIND to the fans. What a man. I went to high school with Bill and he always lived his life in full view of everyone. He decided to fight his pain by making the pain go away for others. What more could a person do for others. I hope he is free of pain and back to form when he used to run hurdles and play without foot pain.
