The sound is so familiar to me because of my neighbor who is rough with starting his Yamaha 40hp outboard
Needs an expansion chamber on the exhaust pipes. You'll get more power that way. I'm currently designing a 3D printed engine that vaguely resembles this one. Only it's got a cooling fan and cowl because it's air cooled, and it's only 36cc. I'm going to try and see if I can get it to run off of compressed air.
Wish I had one of these. I would put it in a snowmobile... Straight-piped, no muffler, maybe with a centrifugal blower.

Ohne auspuffanlage nicht sonderlich gut für den Motor nehme ich an. Würde gerne mal Fotos von der anderen Seite was dafür eine startvorrichtung angebaut ist.
Man kann auch getrost Anlasser dazu sagen.. 😉😊

If you put a proper expansion pipe it'll probably bend a rod if not careful

@@jaggass If made properly then an explanation pipe will not only draw fresh mixture from the carburetor but also supercharge it a little bit in a way
@@rgracing4109 You can get over 120bhp out of them. I only like the sound of 2 stroke Wartburg's and Detroit Diesel's.

I had a Wartburg two stroke car many years ago, it had a free wheeling mechanism for going down hills. Great bodies and strong chassis. The engines were easy seized if you weren't careful how you mixed the oil with the petrol.

get the fatty pipes (expansion chambers) + shave the head + get some good carbies + set up advanced ignition timing = 100 and more horse power.
