I'll be honest, I really only play high tier characters but I'll look into making more content with more of the cast bc I know not everyone is trying to sweat it out with the top tiers

what up zack! yeah, that sounds like it could be a valuable topic. i'll throw it on list of potential videos. i appreciate the idea! but to briefly cover some quick tips: anti air assists are usually best used as a "get off me" type of assist. they can help get rush down characters off of you and keep them at bay. a few really good anti air assists are psyblade, captain corridor, jean splice, guile flash kick assists like sentinel drones and doom rocks are a huge help with offense and dealing pressure. don't call assists mindlessly because they can get punished by the opponent's point character, and also by the opponent's assist character if they're good at "counter calling" try being patient and calling only when you need them, or to counter call the opponents assist, which a lot of times means calling in your assist after their assist to deal damage to their assist hope that helps!

@@FilthGnasty thanks man that helps a lot its just confusing knowing like sometimes i can call them in the air and sometimes i cant, i thought you couldnt so sometimes when opponent in the air their assist gets me and im like how did he even call it

You can call an assist while in normal jump state but not in super jump state. And any character with flight mode (sentinel, Magneto, Storm, iron man, etc) can call an assist during flight. And remember if you do an air dash after a normal jump, you're still in normal jump state so you can call your assist after the air dash

oh, it's not lowkey at all! his sponginess is most definitely one of his most useful characteristics. that added with his super armor is super useful

@@FilthGnasty yeah I guess it's just something I don't see mentioned a lot especially when what is most seen is how sentinel uses flight mode, his chip damage normals, and how insane hyper sentinel force is but I actually believe it's so significant that sentinel has the highest health because it allows him to have insane anchor potential since he lives the longest and would also build meter the most by being able to take the most hits whereas storm could not be an anchor because her combo damage isnt nearly as accessible or risk averse as sentinel's on anchor specifically

Get the fight stick, you won't regret it! It's a bit of a learning curve but I think it's the best way to play. Practice daily and you'll get used to it no time.

Sure that's one way to put it! But you didn't mention how push blocking skews your block stun frames (reduces block stun frames), which is why you're able to get out of block stun by letting your stick go to neutral when you otherwise wouldn't have been able to. It's not necessarily important info to know to be able to pull off a trick like this, but I'm the type of person that likes to have a deeper understanding of these more nuance and weird mechanics. And I made sure to include that in this video because I know others also like that type of info as well!
