Rebuilding Sony BVH-2000 1"inch Videotape Machines
Spent another day working on the Sony BVH-2000 1" inch videotape machines. How I wish I could always work this fast! I'm currently rebuilding 6 x Sony BVH-2000 1 inch videotape machines to add to our fleet of machines used for digitisation of 1 inch videotapes for long term preservation.

Here again is the Sony BVH-2000 tape transport but this time filmed at a high speed 480fps to show the detail and precision of the upper drum. There is only a space around the width of a piece of videotape folded over between the slant guides and the drum surface!

Hi Michael, its unlikely resources will be put into further commerial uploads. Our CZcams channel was designed to serve as samples of the range and quality of material held in the archive, unfortunately it was more often seen as a method to get free footage/avoid fee's, and broadcast as is. As a business we cannot survive on that basis.
