🎬 ABOUT THIS VIDEO SERIES
===============================
In this six part series we will reveal the wonderfully diverse rainforest of the YasunĂ while also explaining what our plan is to help restore and protect this special place.
In the next episode in this series we will give you a proper tour of the land so you can get familiar with every nook and cranny of this place.
🔎 ABOUT THIS PROJECT
===============================
We are embarking on a new journey. To help protect the most biodiverse place on Earth.
Our new project, led by our own team of biologists, will aim to protect and restore rainforest in the buffer zone of the YasunĂ National Park. Located in the Amazon region of Ecuador, this rainforest is home to the highest concentration of species on the planet.
We have laid the cornerstone by purchasing 140 hectares of forest that borders the national park, securing its protection and establishing a base for our project. Together with members of the local community and local experts, we will develop solutions to stop forest degradation and kick-start forest regeneration in the area.

    You are vastly missing the most important part of all this, and that’s the fungi, bacteria, nematodes, protozoans, that capture vastly more carbon than just trees, you have overlooked the soil here. I find myself dumbfounded at how such oversimplified thinking gets put to film? The carbon problem is a fungi problem. It’s really that simple. It’s not your car.

    I just do not get it how can sheep destroy the forests. Sheep only eat low lying bushes and grass. I think the forests were destroyed by human deforestation for boat building, farmland, and fire-wood to keep warm. And there is a reason why there are low trees such as the dwarf birch. Iceland, as I gather, is a windy place. Only low lying trees can survive in such areas (provided there are no sheep). So you might consider planting low lying trees windward and taller trees in valleys. Then the trees would spread from there. Also I love those lupines, they are beautiful. I was fascinated by them when I saw them in Norway with different shades of blue and pink. Have you considered trying to grow rape seed (Brassica napus). Rape seed can fix nitrogen really fast. I do not know if it will grow in the cold temperature of Iceland, but I guess if you seed millions by natural selection a few would survive turning the soil to a more nutritional content. You can also embellish the grasslands first by seeding poppies such as the arctic poppy or digitalis which can withstand cold or even the Iceland Orchids. As a person who love nature I would like to thank you for the good you are doing. Hope the organization would succeed in all its efforts.

    And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. - John 3:16 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. -Acts 3:19 If you are in North America, please go check out any of the churches available to you: OPC, PCA, Rpcna, Urcna, or a Canrc church (These are conservative and actual Presbyterian/Reformed churches) If you can’t find one of the conservative presby churches then, maybe an Lcms Lutheran church. If you’re Scottish, I recommend the Free Church of Scotland and the APC (Different from the Church of Scotland) If you’re English I recommend the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England & Wales and the Free Church of England (Different from the Church of England) Also online you can look up church finders for each of the groups, it will show you locations. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. -Hebrews 10:24-25

    I can't believe this isn't sponsorship by the government. You see politicians talking about the importance of preserving ecosystems, but it's just talk. If they wanted to help they could provide resources, they didn't even need to do any work at all themselves. But they just don't care do they.

    I watched a video last year created by an environmental group claiming that the self-seeding lupins were an environmental disaster. My comment was their position was BS. The Lupins bind and fortify the soil preparing the way for grasses and trees. The grasses and trees are much less aggressive than Lupins but once they're established they shade and displace Lupins - GO LUPINS!
