Soo, When do I use the mark fit, Is it before the decal or Is it after the decal? Or Do I apply It before and after the decal?

but why tho? are we clear coating just to clear coat? are we preparing the surface to paint? the reasons for doing things comes before needing to know how to do them. am I wrong?

Hey man I am a beginner so I don't really know about this stuff I even just learning how to do remove seamlines so what does topcoat does is it necessary to protect the paint from fading or what?

So you did the top coat with the decals applied? Can u top coat then add the water slides?

So, the bit about Tamiya panel liner is a bit of a wives' tale. If enamel wash pools inside of snapped together parts, it can't dry properly, and make the plastic very brittle (this impacts both PS and ABS plastic). Moreover, ABS plastic is much more prone to damage than PS plastic is with enamel wash. I myself panel line on bare plastic with Tamiya panel liner, but I do them on the sprues, and only on PS plastic. I've never had a problem. And, you can clean it up easily with Zippo fluid that you can buy at any gas station or smoke shop. Trust me, if you use enamel wash as panel liner smartly, the payoff is much better than markers ever could be. Just make sure you use that stuff in a well ventilated area, or wear an N95 mask or something, those fumes are toxic. Oh one more thing, you can tell what material the sprues are made of in the instruction manual, and the sprues themselves are also clearly marked with the material as well.

Oddly enough, not the first coke nail(s) I've seen from the Gunpla community. Good video, though.

Pro tip. If you have a stress mark, you can take your finger nail and pretty much rub it off

I'm looking on Amazon for the top coat. Do you happen to know if it is the Tamiya for polycarbonate flat clear? Or the TS-80 mini? I am going to use it on a build I really don't want to fall apart that's PS, the full mechanics Aerial to be specific.

Sticker decals! Never heard of them before, this video saved me! I was trying to use my mg unicorn decals by dunking them in water but they never came off the paper. ❤

this is exactly what I was wondering, thanks for this! I don't have the time to paint everything but doing simple stuff like this to make it look 10x better is worth the time and effort in my opinion.

Do I have to worry about getting topcoat in the joints or on the polycaps? I come from Warhammer and what's appealing to me about gunpla as a side hobby is that it's much more instant gratification and I don't have to do all this crazy subassembly stuff, so if I could just spray the whole thing with minimal masking and not have to worry about gumming up the joints or breaking down the polycaps or anything that would be great.
