Do you happen to know the decibel level in the cabin with the windows up? I’m looking at adding an Off road H pipe to my Roush Extremes. I know it’s a different axel back, but I’d guess it would be about the same level. When just cruising or on the interstate I want to be able to have a conversation or listen to music. Thoughts?
@@Muzik80 it’s loud and in my experience I have to speak up a little to talk or turn up radio volume a little more than normal. Nothing crazy but I’m not a huge radio person to begin with

What mid pipe did you get and where did you buy it? I can’t find a gt500 catless midpipe that bolts to stock exhaust anywhere
I bought off a guy fb marketplace. It’s comes in two sizes. One for stock exhaust and the other if the vehicle has longtube headers
2013/4 GT500 is the ULTIMATE Shelby. Blown 351 and just a beauty.

Wow thats my dream car too. Congrats! The open grills always scare me - rocks and bugs on the engine cooler parts. But I could live with that if I owned a 14 one. I got a head unit with a back up cam for my 07 GT500 - also u can get a front cam to protect the front splitter. License plate cams are the easiest.
Backup cam is what I need to invest in next

I wanted one so bad. Actually, I still do. I test drove a loaded 16 GT and then the 500. I was shocked at how much nicer the S550 felt. It was just a nicer place to be. Logically I had to get the 16 car. All my car needs is boost, but I feel like that makes me think the 500 will be the better choice. Oh m sure I made the right purchase, I’m just reluctant to add boost. The 500 was built for boost…
2015 and newer really modernized the platform and updated the interior. The 500 is the last raw “muscle car”. You do feel a little bit special when sitting in a 500 because you know what it is

I test drove a 2014 last week & that damn clutch was heavy to me. How much was it to replace the stock clutch.
It’s about 2k - 2.5k job between clutch parts and labor

I get woken up before 6 am by the neighbors across the street revving up their old vans for like 20 minnutes each morning. Frankly, unless it's a necessity (which should be fixed as soon as possible if so) it's called being an asshole! Yeah and it can be illegal if taken too far (for good reason).

Did you notice the car pop more now with the Off road H Pipe?
Yeah a little more pops but that’s mostly due to the mufflers

Probably but it has to be drilled to make the tube fit. Up to you if you wanna do that to your intake
I have a 2013 GT 500 convertible, every year I get offers to buy the car…. Bought it brand new, it is completely stock with now about 25 000 miles on it. I love that car, won’t part with it!
