Lapped Hill Holds Up Schumacher and Lets Frentzen Through
zhlédnutí 212KPřed 15 lety
Poor sportsmanship from Hill as he holds up Schumacher not for position but being lapped in a desperate attempt to hand the title to his old team Williams at the conclusion of the 1997 season.

Ronnie O'Sullivan WSC2008 SF - Superb Positional Shot
zhlédnutí 139KPřed 16 lety
Ronnie plays one of the most unusual position shots I've ever seen to get on a yellow covered by brown for natural position
People who are saying he has improved so much since then, I think it depends on your taste. This is a masterpiece and I believe the funniest set he's ever done (that I've seen). His style of delivery has changed but I prefer this style personally.
no hard feelings ^.^
F1 just isnt the same anymore, the noise of the cars is crap, the drivers are just void of personality and Murray Walker isnt on commentary RIP MURRAY
Live by the sword …..
I'll never forget the roar of the crowd on the pit straight when they came around, and the Tifosi realized Schumi was suddenly leading. '98 was truly one of the best seasons
BRNING BACK v10's bought me here
The best pieces of commentary in F1 History.
There were yellow flags… Damon saved Schumi‘s race
Where were the yellow flags? Do you have time stamps?
Hill held Schumacher up for a full, complete lap. If Hill allegedly blocked Schumacher, because of yellow flags - which you claim, which is not credible anyway - then the marshals should have shown yellow flags in every corner, on the entire lap. None of this can be seen.
Nessuno come Te Schumy
Hill der Amateur.
Fico ate arrepiado de ver esses videos do schumi nostalgia..que sensação ver esse cara correndo
He is good
Msch is the goat for the simple reason he has won when he clearly didnt have the best car and he was competitive even if his car was far behind compared to others..meanwhile hamilton lost to a teammate
Missing the F1 of this times. Even without DRS, old-time F1 is still better than F1 nowadays
Who else was there?
What goes around comes around
Glorious days and glorious era.
And this was the man criticising Max Verstappens driving in 2021, talking about driving standards 😂😂😂
Hhhahahahaha..dirty MS
Its natural, champion vs champions...lapped or not ....
No DRS made this battle amazing to watch DRs is killing F1. For me 1998 was the best season. Drama till the last race when Michael stalled.
Hill was always a bit of a piece of work! A man with a giant inferiority complex when he was racing. He was capable of impressive performances like at Suzuka in 1994 or Hungary in 1997. But he also did a lot of boneheaded shit like that. In retrospect he probably deserved what happened to him at Adelaide in 94!
No way did he!
Hill was a massively over-rated, lucky to be in the right place at the right time driver - just like Villeneuve and other Wiiliams winners in the 90s.
Fact. Hill was good in 94 though. But Schumacher would have dominated 97 in that Williams, for example
Murray Walker commentating, V10 F1 engines and Italians going mental. It really didn't get any better than that.
Hill is and always will be a massive twat.
Can they bring back Murray Walker as an AI and replace Crofty.
Both M betrayed by the beryllium engine
Even if you conclude the 94 Adelaide incident was Schumacher’s fault, Hill more than got his own back at Silverstone the following year. This just tops it. The British media sadly were quiet on the latter two incidents and only focus on the 1994 one…
Don't forget that Hill already crashed into Schumacher before 1994, back in 1993. Yet Michael was painted as the bad guy, when it was Hill who kept having grudges against him since before they even fought for a title. 1994 Adelaide wasn't even Michael's fault either. Clear divebomb from Hill. The awful truth is that Hill was a bad wheel to wheel racer. He proved that one final time with his constant crashes in 1999.
That is team racing and, maybe, payback time,
A little bit of payback. And well deserved.
Payback? For what?
Meine Handzeichen an Hill wäre 🖕gewesen genau wie hier an alle die Schumacher nicht mögen
Oh Murray Walker, how you are missed!
Hill was never a worthy champion.. he won only because he sat in the very best car at the time..
Top 3 things Hill did : 1) World champion 1996 2) Hungary 1997 3) This
1:55 "What am i doing ? Giving you a bit of the taste of Adelaide 1994."
In adelaide 94 it was about a position. This was about lapping. Topic missed.
Karma's a bitch schuwanker
What Damon did was heroic
Say what you want about what happened into previous years. But this was unacceptable. Hill childish and petty seemingly forveer
these things just prove that british golden boys like Hill were no better than Schumacher. Michael just won little too much for their liking
You can hear Hill saying, 'Thats for Adelaide'
1:17
I'm still salty about Spa 98 I just knew something was going to happen with DC.
ROS' display in the 2nd session of that semi was something else
Paybacks a b1tch!
i remember watching this race live, man time flys by and I've gotten so old, love you still Schumi, get well soon, and thx soo much for all the years you gave us in F1
How many shots ahead do they think, 2?
I know why they changed it but I miss the original start to the lap, reminds me of my n64 days as a kid.
Didn't the exact same thing happen in '98 or '99 as well? Also at Suzuka.
That was 98, Schumacher started from the back scythed his way through to the midfield in about 3 laps, and then was stuck behind a very wide and aggressive Hill for the next 20, Hill seemed to get a lot of flack for that drive but it was a supreme performance, probably his last in F1
Wow, that was a very nice time to watch Formula One. Mindblowing engine sound.
Schumacher was a turd anyway!
Du bist ein Idiot
