How long would something like this take for a novice and how much would it cost for a professional to do? I'm trying to figure out if I should just spend the time at work making the money it would take to pay someone else to do it so I don't screw anything up lol.

Thank you for this thorough install video. Did you get the Spec-C heavy load for front and rear coilovers or did you go with the medium load? My Xtrek 2018 will have a similar weight as yours (Prinsu rack, roof tent, rear tire, etc.) but I am not doing serious off-roading, just BLM land camping, and a little off-road nothing major. Would it make sense to do a medium load in the front and a heavy load in the rear? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Did you torque the front sway bar link on the nut? Or the allen screw? Looks like the nut but I can't really tell.

Whats you max weight load you carried on this piecture after the ATS-SPEC C? I saw another video showing that with 1000lbs in the rear it still sags horrible? Maybe that person got the wrong rears?

what brackets did you use? Prinsu site says their awning brackets don't work with batwing style awnings.. Would the included Ironman4x4 brackets not work on the prinsu rack?

What is this guy getting now for MPG? All that weight and additional drag must be reducing fuel efficiency to the upper teens at best.

Impressive setup. I'm jealous. Looks like a lot of thought and work went into this build out and it looks tough as nails. Sorry though, I too couldn't get to the end of the segment because of the music. Kinda sounded like what I would imagine being on hold trying to make a reservation at a tanning salon or massage parlor would sound like. That being said, thanks for sharing your ride and thoughts regarding how it's performed thus far.

I just completed installation of the Ironman lift kit on my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, and I want to thank you for posting this video! In most respects, this video is better than the "official" Ironman video (although that one is worth watching too, as he has a really cool trick for getting the alignment almost perfect, and he also says that you need to lower the car before torquing the bolts on moving parts, which seems especially important for the rear). The one thing that's not shown in this video is the stuff related to the rear swaybar. I found that to be a PITA, and if I had it to do over, I'd completely remove the rear swaybar, as I don't think it's going to hold up to off road use. Anyways, thanks again for the great video!

What about the 19 Forester Touring?

Will a swing-out tire carrier, hitch, and full-size spare be enough weight for the spec-c or just the regular ats? That's probably an extra 150-170lbs in the rear, plus skid plates, so an extra 20-30lbs but not all in the rear. So up to 200lbs extra all the time. Will have more weight when camping or playing in the mountains but not all the time.

It’s too bad y’all weren’t in Wenatchee Washington. A LOT of people drive Subaru’s in our area. There’s 9 families that live on our private road and 6 families drive Subie’s. We have a 19 Outback and we’re going to buy a new Forester touring next year to replace my old Rav. My wife would kill me if I took her Outback off road, but with a 2” lift I’ll be able to get to my fishing hole better than with my Rav. Our 4X4 pickup has no problems but a shorter wheel base will be better.

The stock alignment bolts were enough to align it to spec ?
