What a great tune…had just gotten off an airplane in Orlando,Florida and had a nice Sony boom box….Stopped at Peaches on the way to the in-Laws..mama and dad’s…got in the pool with the woman of my dreams listened to this album with Crown and ice splash a water….had sat down with Dickey backstage in ‘79(gettin’ backstage was my jam back then…was on stage durin’ the show) but Dickey & me talked for a good 20 minutes…told him I’d seen him and Duane together…in Sept of ‘71… 6 weeks before we lost Duane and how their music had changed my life… he was very “thank you man and so glad you like what we write and sing!!! Signed my hat for me and I left…. I was also a gate agent for Delta and one day this kid walks up and I thought I know this cat…ticket read David Goldflies! I looked up and said “Rook” he looked surprised a said…”You know me?” Told him “I know you’re the bass guitar player for the Allman Brothers and that gets you a 1st. Class seat from here(DAY) to ATLANTA!” We talked a bit he said “Thanks I appreciate this.” Was the least I could do😄

The high fairly rendition of the year in guitar solo and rocken music from the motion of practicing the full background check for shade in the industry is pretty much the Gain im used to hearing from the Allman brothers band chose to play it loader and remember that when you get blue's clues and classic hard rock n roll is full of secrets of love and money in the rain for everyone included definitely the agenda they're agent team mended in the ❤️ hearts and sound very beautiful sensations all over the airwaves in weeks Lovett you get it to the bone

My dad took my brothers & I to see Dickey Betts when we were young… he would play at a venue on the Boardwalk in Ocean NJ… couldnt truly appreciate it until i was grown… but i can’t thank him enough… we are a very musical family so i was just happy to see live music that everyone seem really excited about… especially my old man. I cherish those memories… RIP Dickey, a true American Guitar Legend…

something i always found incredibly hard to understand, was the fact that the original line up, Oakley, bettes, duane... were making their mark in their very early 20's as world renowned, world class level and finally the proof in the future, alive or dead ....they were the real deal, legendary status as far as playing ability. What I'm getting at is, it's as if they picked up a guitar or bass at 13 or 14 years old and without any unique or special training or instruction, ....if duane was great at 23 and died, well, apparently he wasn't much different at 20 and therefore, WTF???.... IT'S AS IF THESE THREE GUYS, when they turned 17 they got out of bed and went to the bathroom and brushed their teeth and looked in the mirror and ... OHHH HO HUM I THINK IM GOING TO GO SET THE WORLD ON ITS ASS WITH MY MYSTERIO OUT OF NOWHERE LEGENDARY STATUS LEVEL OF ABILITY THAT I JUST DECIDED RIGHT NOW I HAVE AND THANK GOD THAT'S OVER THAT WAS A LOT OF WORK DO YOU KNOW THESE OTHER GUYS WHO GO 20-30 YEARS TRYING THEIR HARDEST AND NOT GET TO ANYWHERE NEAR MY ABILITY... I DON'T KNOW THEY JUST MUST ALL BY THE THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS MUST BE STUPID AND I'M THE ONLY SMART GUY HERE THAT ALONG WITH MY OTHER TWO COHORTS HAVE DEFIED STATISTICAL IMPOSSIBILITIES HO HUMMMM MOMMMMMMMMM!!!! .... ...LUNCHABLES🙋🏻

Such a talented artist, Gregg's voice sends chills down my spine, so heartfelt, so true, no one comes even close. Sorely missed.

My favorite band of all ! I am a percussionist and I learned it by watching Butch and Jamo and the band love them all. The different members that have come and gone. Miss them all so much thank God for recordings. Rip all of you!
