You should really teach your child how to be non invasive. Most cats and dogs will bite anything near them out of pain...your child continually touches pokes prods shouts commands taps and palpates laboring cat...how upsetting..cats usually go to find a place far away from the threat of unpredictable and aggressive invasive children and adults. You can cause a pet great distress and retention of a baby due to nit feeli g comfortable in such an intrusive free for all.

I know they're hard to handle their damn near as bad as those sullair cattle but it was a good video I liked it a lot
Why not 1st a local anesthesia shot on ear section, as medix use morphine on wounded, then do that process as painless as possible, following give local sedation some more until they heal from tagging....... ..of course, let alone this piercing, metal bracelet without going thru this hurtful process would be the best and humane way....

I would like to trap those men in some tight place, where they could not get loose, tag their ears, after they watched their companions go in there 1st, heard their distress, kicking the sides, struggling, etc. trapped and upset. Then maybe they might know what it's like. Of course it's certainly not the worst film I've seen re: animals, quite the contrary.

Mercedes McVey these people are not being mean to the animals, they are managing them. What do you think cattle ranchers do? I bring my cattle in to vaccinate, tag and doctor too and I am not being mean to them. Hey, at least they aren't jabbing them with a hot shot! They were doing a fine job handling these bison. So, try to calm yourself.

I got slapped with a stick at school, plus the slipper, slipper hurt more depending on who was wielding it, teachers these days have no deterrent to bad behaviour, hence the society we live in. The only Teachers I like today is the one you can drink, cheers.

You've obviously never seen a sale barn, that was easy going, a little tough but they also weigh a ton, so you have to balance respect with getting them to move, I guarantee none were hurt

+Caleb Moore. I seen plenty. And have done some myself so I know that bison weigh a lot but in some areas of bison are very sensitive more then others find the sensitive spots and they will move better

'No bison injured' by whose standards? I understand that people who work with herd animals are trained - mostly by example and cultural tradition - to disregard the inner experiences of the animals, but the confusion, fear and trauma these calves are experiencing as they are goaded to enter and then find themselves trapped in the chute is readily observable. It is also evident from their full-body flinch - and one calf's immediate attempt to break free of the chute - that they experience physical pain when the tagging device pierces their ear, which has not been numbed. I'm guessing that what is meant by 'no bison injured' is that the meat potion of the body that will be harvested later, when the animal is slaughtered, has not been harmed, and the animal remains ambulatory and able to grow to maturity.
