The Roman stone likely did not come from Caerwent or Caerleon as much there still remains in situ. Instead it is likely that they robbed the stone from the small Roman town that existed at Chepstow. Excavations that undertook next to the Methodist Church in Lower Church street revealed the side wall of a Roman building built of Portskewett Sandstone, the same yellow sandstone that exists within Chepstow castle. Once they used up what remained locally, they then quarried the local stone to build the remainder of the castle.

What a highly informative and entertaining film. We used to have a museum of erotica in Copenhagen, and they displayed an American brothel coin, which was bought from the Madame and given to the chosen girl. On the averse, it said "$3" and on the reverse, it said "Good for one screw".

When I was about 8 years old at school we learned about the Revolt and who the leader was. About 5 years later one morning before I left for school on the local radio station they always had a quizz 10 minutes before the 8 am news. I won it this particular day because the question was "Who led the peasants revolt?" I won a Harmonica and bragging rites...to myself, and now 60 years later, to the entire world. I feel my life is now fulfilled and I shall meet my maker soonly only to learn that he is a spitting image of Donald Trump, but with slightly LESS of that Beautiful Hair than Trump has.
