I understand why people wanted Dr Facilier to appear again, maybe he could’ve came back to life by revenge and steal the secret sauce, its not a revolutionary idea but its simple and its CONFLICT! And yes, I am also aware that Dr Facilier doesn’t sit right with some people because his whole villainy is based on voodoo, which is also controversial im pretty sure. Excuse me for the continuing long rant. Anyways, because this is a new continuing story to the movie, why didn’t they compose more new soundtracks that might as well have the leitmotifs of the original songs, instead of reusing the said songs from the movie? They had 4 years to do that!!! (Since the ride was announced in 2020). And also I felt that some parts of the ride felt really barren and sad. But what I find the most baffling is that WHY did they have to release the ENTIRE RIDE via VIDEO literally WEEKS before the ride opens? That just spoils the excitement some have!

The other thing, relating to trailers being too long now; everyone thanks to tiktok has much shorter attention spans. So if people today watch a 2 min video they feel like they've watched an entire movie. But to be fair, a 2 minute trailer is a bit too long and a bit too revealing.

I'm going to play devil's advocate a little bit and say I think the bigger problem is the bad economy and it's just become too expensive to go to the movies. We've seen worse movies perform better when the economy was doing better and it wasn't almost $60 to sit in a theater by yourself.
