The Maryland APEX Accelerator opened its doors in 2002 in an effort to expand the number of businesses capable of participating in government contracting. This APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense. We achieve this mission by:
- Providing businesses with an understanding of the requirements of government contracting and the market know-how they need to obtain and successfully perform federal, state, and local government contracts.
- Supporting government agencies in reaching and working with the suppliers they need.

Hello, thank you so much for the information. I do have one question. I am a new logistics company Coalvatis LLC and I want to work as a procurement company for DLA. I recently read an FAR on a contract stating only companies (manufacturing) the goods required could apply. How do I break into the DLA/DOD world and not be a manufacturer when most manufacturers just modify some else's product? Thank you for your help, Eric C

I just signed up for a DIBBS account and have recently been verified and validated. My question is how do I obtain a contract with no prior contracts ( prior performance) being won? I was told by my PTAC officer to stay away from DIBBS but I see DIBBS as a great entry point for contracts below 500K
